I usually go here because it’s the only good Chinese food in Lamar but today when I went the service and food was awful. The food wasn’t as good as it normally is. The orange chicken was very hard to bite and pick up with fork, the chicken fried rice was flavored weird, and the beef lo mein was very sticky and all stuck together. And the lady Amanda Archuleta that answered the phone and took the order could’ve been more customer service friendly and at the end of my order...read full review

Very good Chinese for a small town in eastern Colorado. We went to the Happy Garden last night and everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. We ordered Pad Thai, Orange Chicken and Mongolian Beef and everything was excellent. The proportions are huge. We also ordered pot stickers as an appetizer and the fried ones were very good, the steamed ones were cold. That was the only hitch in the meal. We would all definitely go back.
