Amazing smash burgers. They were sold out of the Nashville hot, but I'll gladly drive up from Colorado Springs to get one. Sooner than later. Do yourself a favor and stay off of I-25.. The drive up on Spruce Mountain is beautiful. As far as atmosphere, walk or drive several feet down to the veterans Park. Find a bench and enjoy.
Totally unassuming, a true hole in the wall. But delicious burgers and sandwiches priced right. A must try if you live here or are just passing through town. You will not be disappointed. Stop and enjoy the beautiful Larkspur scenery and let Ron craft you something delicious.
Ron is a great guy, knows what he’s doing with the burgers, great prices too

The Stand is a restaurant in Larkspur. It is totally unassuming, a true hole in the wall. The menu offers delicious burgers and sandwiches priced right, along with breakfast sandwiches, a double smash patty, a double cheeseburger, a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, chicken sammiches, vindaloo, a Cobb salad, and an ice cream cookie sandwich for dessert. The sausage and egg sandwiches are loved, and the double smash patty is amazing, almost melt in your mouth, with tons of flavor, great sauce, and extra fried onions on top. The Double Cheeseburger is one of the best burgers, and the Nashville Hot Chicken is so good. The owner is a really nice guy, pleasant, sociable, and super friendly, and the service is fast. There is plenty of parking room, and guests can stand to eat. Visitors can walk or drive several feet down to the veterans Park, find a bench, and enjoy, or stop and enjoy the beautiful Larkspur scenery. It is a must try if you live here or are just passing through town. Take exit 173 off of I25 and head west for about a mile, on the left at the end of the ball fields. You will not be disappointed.
