The food is below average, smaller portions, everything is microwaved; not the fresh cooked Mexican meals you get at other Mexican restaurants. Not many people there so plenty of room. On Thursdays they have $1 tacos,$1 drafts and live music at 6 pm but order by 5 or be prepared for a long line.
I ate lunch at the bar at the old south main location every Friday for a couple of decades. Glad to see them back downtown. The food is still awesome and the staff is "the best". The machaca burrito with hot green chili, cheese and jalapeños is my favorite. I do miss the sit down, have a conversation, have my order taken aspect of the old location but it's still me best Mexican lunch in Boulder County.

I love this little place with their gringo tacos and mostly very good food. I especially love Taco Thursday with $1 tacos and drafts (!!!). But they really, super-dooper NEED to get some help with their point of sale system. The line gets crazy here. For no good reason. They are missing money and losing customers over this. But, that aside, love , love, love it.
