Absolutely Phenomenal! I've been missing good Caribbean food for many years, and was excited to try this - and not disappointed! Everything is home-made and delicious, and well worth a try. I had the curry chicken this time - the chicken was falling off the bone, and I couldn't stop dipping everything possible into the sauce. And the plantains... yum!! Definitely a must-try.
I couldn't wait for this place to open and once it did I have been returning as often as possible for both the flavorful food and the awesome customer service. Today I got the Chicken curry stew and the meat falls right off the bone. Anytime I have had a meal from here the portions are generous and it takes a couple meals to finish. Whenever I’m craving authentic Caribbean cuisine there is none better than island woman shanty. We had a party with a couple dozen friends and everything was delivered right to my door, right on time. Folks were blown away by the meat patties and the chicken curry. It was gone so fast couldn’t even take pictures. Can’t wait for the food truck!
