We were excited to try Sakura based on reviews of the sushi. However we were disappointed. The sushi was fresh - especially evident with the sashimi - but the rolls were ho-hum, on the small side and nothing creative or memorable. The main ding is about the service: from the moment we were seated we were rushed to order by a person with an obvious upselling goal. She was mature, may have been an owner but seemed stressed, lacked warmth and hospitality, and seemed keen on getting...
This is our family's favorite restaurant and has been for a very long time.
The food is incredible, always fresh, with new creative rolls all the time.
The service is amazing, everyone is so friendly and kind. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I recommend this place to everyone!

Hands down the best Japanese restaurant in Boulder County. The staff is as accommodating and friendly as the food is fresh and delicious. Everything is prepared with care and an artistic touch. If you're an epicurean, don't hesitate to make reservations.
