Never got to try the food, we order vegan french toast and eggs with toast, that alone still hadn't come out after 25 minutes ordered. AND they kept seating people down! If you have little kids, this may not be the place for you as they will be anxiously waiting for a small portion of food that may take too long to come out. The table next to me got their meal in parts , not all at once so 3 out of their 5 top had foor and the rest of the group had to wait while other ate. How awkward. They don't carry red meats or pork so no bacon fyi. Lastly, the chair I was sitting on needs to be retired. We were seated in the back on the table on the right hand corner. I'm 125 lbs and I could feel the bones of the chair right under the thin cushion digging into my bottom. Do the owners ever even sit down on those chairs? Very uncomfortable. There's something seriously disturbing about owners not willing to own up to mistakes and take constructive feedback. A snarky reply doesn't keep the bills paid but hey do you, it's your restaurant not mine. I personally would not come back. Also, The "manager" let his server down , didn't even glance in our direction even though he knew we were telling her we wanted to leave. Left the young lady to deal with it. This review is in no way designed to hurt your business, but there must be accountability between restaurants and patrons, as we pay our hard earned wages off to you but expect quality and care in return. This review is a true representation of our experience Sunday morning.

Placed an order to for ordered the Thai shrimp. Most ingredients were fresh and had a nice flavor. The shrimp however were cooked to death! Dry and no flavor. Pretty disappointing. My husband's smoked salmon Enchiladas were ok but again not super favorable

Quaint mountain café, right on the boulevard, and the food was top-drawer! Our best lunch while on vacation. So healthy!! LOVED the Avocado Quinoa bowl, with tempeh, chickpeas and lemon tahini dressing.

If you’re a hippy this is your place!! The food is 95% vegan. Very interesting place but if you’re not a vegan then I probably would choose Sam’s pancake house instead…

I love everything about this place except the food. The food is consistently under temperature, inadequately or completely unseasoned, and small-portioned. I have been here several times, in hopes that I will one day have a different experience, but unfortunately it seems that time will not come. I have never once left this place feeling that my appetite is satiated. I genuinely feel sorry for Colorado Springs vegans who think that this is the best/only place that they can go for brunch. This trip, I ordered the “Man Pan Special.” This consisted of 2 Jimmy Dean sausages, eggs not cooked to order, hardened/possibly stale bread, and unseasoned mashed potato patty. This bland meal tasted more medical than delicious. The cost was also more medical than enjoyable— would you pay $15 for this? (See pictures). This restaurant is a really cute, quaint place. I love the artwork and the general charm. The customer-facing staff is consistently friendly and attentive. This restaurant used to be great but something changed when they switched kitchen staff, or whatever else happened. It’s such a shame that they are continuing to use the same menu but offering increasingly lower quality food. It sort of feels dishonest to rely on the reputation of the predecessor kitchen to keep customers coming in. It is with a heavy heart and great reluctance that I must now make the decision to dine here again. I think the best course of action for Adam’s Mountain Cafe, at this point, is for them to shut down again and do a total rebrand. To anyone reading this, I would suggest considering one of the many other wonderful nearby West Side restaurants that offer a plethora of flavorful foods. They will be just as expensive, but you’ll at least leave satisfied. Good luck to all!Vegetarian options: Abundant in quantity but not in flavor or quality.Dietary restrictions: Many options for vegans and vegetarians but they are not flavorful.Parking: Cramped asphalt parking lot, with an overflow dirt lot.Kid-friendliness: Lots of tripping hazards for children. Likely not many menu options as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes but it’s difficult to navigate once inside the restaurant. Tables are physically close together and don’t offer much space.

A unique old feel, the restaurant was very nice. The food was very good. Everyone loved the breakfast options they chose and essentially ate everything they ordered. The lattes were also spot on which is a good way to start the day.Lots of vegan options.
