Went to Armadillo Ranch based off recommendations I saw online for places to eat in Manitou Springs. Overall, the food was just fine. I think if I got a different dish other than sliders, I would have liked it more.
The people who I dined with seemed to enjoy their food, so it could just be what I got.

I really wish I could recommend this place but don’t appreciate them pushing their politics on the customers. They have a sticker inside the men’s bathroom toilet that encourages customers to urinate on the President of the United States which is very disrespectful that they condone this. We ate & paid for an appetizer but decided to leave and find another restaurant to patronize.

I came in and ordered a simple kids meal, yet my tab somehow ended up about $10 higher than expected due to items that were added on that I didn't order, also including more added items and fees I was not informed about. When I tried to resolve it, I was then told there was also an additional $3.50 band fee that they threatened to add on that had never been mentioned.
What’s most concerning is that in my last review, the business publicly claimed they handled this “courteously and professionally.” That is completely false. Their emails were rude, dismissive, and included personal insults, threats to sue, and referred to me as mentally impaired, simply because I questioned incorrect charges and said I would dispute them with my bank.
I was trying to resolve a straightforward billing issue. Instead of transparency or professionalism, I was met with hostility over roughly $10 in disputed charges. Customers deserve clear pricing and respectful communication — neither of which happened here.
