Sam's Gyros & Kabobs in Woodland Park is the BEST & MOST AUTHENTIC food I've had since I've been back from the Middle East! It took me back to eating food in Iraq, Syria, and Jordan! “I had the BBQ chicken sandwich. The chicken was fresh, with juicy chunks of chicken breast. I would recommend this place if you're hungry for sandwiches. They have a wide variety of sandwiches on the menu and you can modify any of them. It's themed after marijuana smoking, and it is reflected in the names of the sandwiches and the decorations. So, if you are offended by that, don't go. But, you'll be missing out on some delicious sandwiches. Yum!!“

“The service from Aiden was superb. He knew his menu and answered any questions we had. He was attentive to all of his tables, keeping drinks filled and inquiring if we needed refills on soup/salad and breadsticks. The food was very good. The pasta could use more sauce as it was a little dry, until Aiden brought out extra sauce to all of us. We truly appreciate his first rate service and representing the business well.“

Highly recommended for all sandwich lovers. Their fire-roasted vegetable soup was also very delicious. Everything is crafted with care and you can taste the quality in every bite. “Build your plate. I had brisket, hot links, okra and fries. This is the best restaurant okra I’ve ever had. Being from Mississippi, I know fried okra. The fries and okra are prepared as they are ordered and are served fresh and hot. The fries are nice and firm, not mealy at all. The brisket was good and the hot links too. Portions are generous. The staff is great and the place is clean. I will definitely be back. You can’t miss with this place.“

“Me and my man went to lazy dog for dinner last night, the server was super sweet and very attentive despite it being busy. Our server was Jaime and she had not only taken good care of use but everyone else based on the smiles with her interactions with them. My partner’s food came out burnt the first time but Immediately as we mentioned it our waitress notified her boss and had the kitchen remake which came out much better and was able to be enjoyed. Not only did she help us out with the food but offered compensation and was very kind and welcoming to the feedback. I really appreciate people like Jaime who go above and beyond, will definitely be returning soon!“

“Love this place, but I will not be returning. As a customer, I don’t believe it’s right for guests to shoulder the cost of the business renting their building through a Public Improvement Fee (PIF). For context, in 2024 the average Chick-fil-A unit brought in around $7.5 million annually, with freestanding locations like those in Colorado Springs often exceeding $9 million. With revenue at that level, covering rent should not fall back on the customers. If a business cannot manage its own operating costs, that responsibility should remain with ownership, not passed on to guests.“

“The workers who work for chick fil a are always incredibly kind, but I wanted to especially thank this chick fil a as I was admittedly having a bad day and had some tears on my face and as I unpacked my order just now I see a coupon for a free dessert and a handwritten note from one of the staff. Trying to use other platforms at this store and others required signing up for other services after filing in tons of options, and then often wouldn't work either, and had different prices and ingredients? They need to get their digital act together.“
