Ice Cream Shops near Olathe

“Awesome authentic Mexican food here the staff is great very friendly. Thier burritos are awesome, same with thier Tortas, I seen others had ordered taco plates and those looked really good too very fresh and delicious ? They are also a meat market and have fresh cuts of meat they also sell various imported Mexican food items and drinks. For a small shop they have lots of variety.

Parking: There is limited parking and they are usually packed around lunch. Olathe is a really small town and they have to share parking with other businesses along the street. Still worth finding a place to park and walking to thier store“

“We got a variety of pizzas for our team at Alpine Bank and everyone enjoyed them. The staff at Buckaroos Slices and Scoops are very friendly as well! We all would highly recommend!“

“Best ice cream, but even more so the best service. Saturday we were just passing through and stopped for ice cream but unfortunately their freezer was on the fritz and couldn’t offer cones or scoops. I looked around and saw pints of ice cream in the freezer! The employee said we can wrap it in ice. Lucky me I had my tiny cooler in my truck. Grabbed that, came back in and the Manager grabbed a plastic bag and some scoops of ice and we were able to have our ice cream and the leftovers (ice cream leftovers?!?!) made it safely back on our 1 1/2 hour drive home.

“Husband and I throughly enjoyed this cold stones our children had a fun place to sit. Staff was very pleasant and polite to our family.

Dietary restrictions: My husband has a gluten intolerance and they had lots of options for him to choose.“

“I saw a young lady get accosted by a very angry customer here one time. I could tell that he was angry, for his face was very red and he was gesticulating wildly with his arms. The man was yelling something about “seven dollars”, and he appeared to be upset with the financial decisions of the Dairy Queen corporation, as he mentioned taking out a loan. The staff member, although frightened, kept her composure, and narrowly avoided having to call the police for everyone’s safety. I hope that man finds the mental health services and financial counseling that he clearly needs.“

“Who doesn't like a stop at Dairy Queen??? There I was....just finishing a multi thousand mile airline ride, with a face swollen up from a dental procedure inspection ....super low on blood sugars, but not able to eat due to that swollen face.

This Dairy Queen saved the day!! Awesome customer service (and having just come out of multiple airports, this was one of the only smiling people I saw all day) and the very predictable yummy blizzard.!“

“We enjoy eating at Freddy's. The only problem we run into is that we do have to double check our concrete when we go through the drive-thru. We never order one without it being chocolate yogurt because we are very strong chocolate advocates! It is beyond disappointing when we get on down the road, eat our meal and finally get to our concrete and discover that it is NOT chocolate, but vanilla. We have wasted quite a bit of money this way! Double-check your orders!“
