Absolutely the best ceviche I’ve ever had! Was delicious! I recommend you try it with tapatio on the tostadas!

My husband and I absolutely love Mexican food, and we’ve been to countless Mexican restaurants over the years. This place is truly one of the best of the best. Even our picky kids gave it a big thumbs-up!

The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and full of positive energy, which made our experience even better. I rarely write reviews, but this restaurant definitely deserves one.

We visit Pagosa Springs from time to time, and we will absolutely be back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommended!

It was so yummy I forgot to take the pictures at the beginning! 😅 the beans were homemade and fresh. I got the combo plate with an enchilada and a taco while my husband got the birria tacos. The places were busy but they worked hard and had high energy. I was walking out and the waiter stopped me because I forgot my leftovers. I would have been very sad. I highly recommend this place.

We ordered our food and saw a roach running around after we did. I informed the waiter about it, but they tried to downplay the situation. When I checked my food, I discovered a large roach inside! This place is incredibly gross!

The restaurant was packed, so I was excited to try it. It was also promising to see tamarind soda on the menu โ€” something so few Mexican restaurants offer. Unfortunately, our entrees fell short.

I ordered one of their newer menu items: carne asada with cream sauce and shrimp. The carne asada was extremely overcooked, almost burnt, and lacked seasoning. The cream sauce was also bland, and I ended up adding salsa for flavor. The shrimp, however, was cooked perfectly. My husband was also disappointed with his three-taco plate, though he did enjoy the salsas.

On the bright side, the service was good โ€” even if we did have to ask for utensils โ€” and the atmosphere was lively and fun!

The chimigana was loaded with meat and the michilada was huge! Excellent Mexican food. Still searching for fried ice cream that comes out warm from the fryer.

Best little restaurant in Pagosa. The smothered burrito is a meal and a half. Tried many items off the menu and never have been disappointed.
