Service was good. Food was fast. We ordered the seafood gumbo with shrimp and crab meat. It had one spoonful of shrimp and crab together. You really couldn’t even see the crab. The rest was rice, okra, and some other vegetable.. not worth the time or money if you want meat with your dinner.

Vegetarian options: Even the dishes that are supposed to have meat are all vegetables. Vegetarians will love this place!

Had dinner tonight. Pros, quick and inexpensive. Cons, food was super salty and not the best etoufee I've had.

We stopped there two weeks ago on our way from Santa Fe to Salt Lake City. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and the exceptional service, Amanda is lovely. We had the Gumbo and Cajun classic trio, the fish and chips, and also the shrimp and fish platter. It was delicious. The fish was incredible. Pagosa Springs in general was lovely, can't wait to come back!

Growing up in South Louisiana, this place really seems to misrepresent true Cajun cuisine. Shrimp are extremely small, almost stir fry quality. Seafood gumbo tastes like a Campbell Soup rendition of what they perceive gumbo should be.

Good tasting Food, good quality service, and I give them an additional plus for also providing the Dairy-free and Gluten-free options, as well.

The food is the outstanding feature here at Lost Cajon. Remember though… everything is fried. On the other hand, all food is created by the two cooks coordinating all the slightly spicy dishes… Even the fries were hot! The service and atmosphere were fine. The New Orleans memorabilia was … nice but the place could use a little more “spice”. I guess I am asking for a more upbeat place with a little pizazz. Maybe too much for Pagosa Springs… so… blame it on me!

Nothing like Cajun food. Where is the Cajun flavor/spice?

We had fried Okra as an appetizer, very good, no oily taste. Then I ordered the fried shrimp, they weren't great and I left the last few on the plate as the taste was getting less fresh the more I ate. My wife's gumbo was excellent. She's a Cajun and knows her gumbo!
The waitress was kind of an obnoxious smart ass when I had some menu questions. I didn't know if it was part of the Lost Cajun schtick or just her personality. I hoped a 25% tip would freshen her up. The beignets were wonderful, I wish they had chicory coffee to go with them. I definitely recommend this place if you go through Pagosa Springs!

The Lost Cajun is a great place among the typical burger fair in most places. The food was great as well as authentic and the service was good. The red fish was fresh, the crawfish etifuee was a great option. Of course we had the finish off with some beinets.

Parking: Parking is street parking only. There may be a lot across the street but I'm not sure.

Food was mediocre at best. Everything had the same flavor. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. We ordered okay, red fish, lobster bisque and fried cat fish. Server had allergies and was continuously sneezing in his hands .. just passing through on a day trip and wish we would have chosen differently. It’s a shame because there’s not Cajun options in the area! I feel everything was reheated and prepared extremely quickly.
