Our experiences with Alfred Eames wines over the years has been excellent and memorable. Our first visit to the winery was charming and very informative because Alfred epitomizes both of those qualities. The first sip of wine (Tempranillo) introduced us to the realm of fine wines and refined tastes which has made us more discerning wine drinkers. High quality wine and a tour of the Cellars. Very friendly and knowledge able owners.
My favorite red wine in the West Elks! But not only is the wine amazing the people are so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about wine. The location is so beautiful, with a pond in the back and stunning mountain views . Make sure to come during an event weekend or make a reservation ahead of time though to visit this amazing location of theirs! Alfred Eames or Zen Zen Gardens are absolutely must stop locations when you are in the area.
