Our first visit to the winery was charming and very informative because Alfred epitomizes both of those qualities. The first sip of wine (Tempranillo) introduced us to the realm of fine wines and refined tastes which has made us more discerning wine drinkers. Picking up wine at the winery is always a special occasion. A bottle off the shelf at your wine shop will also provide a feeling of satisfaction, gratitude, and appreciation for a well crafted wine. It is reassuring to know that this is a father/son operation; the future looks good.“

“Root and Vine was recommended to me by friends. The outdoor seating and views of the snow capped lamborn mountains were only the start of the magnificent experience. We started out with a wine tasting. The wines are on the dryer continuem and I am a sweet wine person but I found several wines that I really enjoyed, very crisp and light. For an appetizer we shared bruschetta which was amazing with such magnificently paired flavors it was hard to say which was my favorite. I then had an incredible sirloin burger(so good). I ended my meal with the most delicious chocolate cake, yummy. The presentation of food was top notch. This is a must visit spot along your route or as a destination. You won't regret your decision.“
