Stayed in town for work , three of us stopped in . No shit best meal I've had in my life ! I had stuffed ravioli (mushroom) so amazing. She even let us try some of the moonshine whine a local had made ! Will be bringing my wife in for our anniversary. I'll be coming from mancos col well worth the drive !
One of our favorite places to go in Paonia. We visit each fall, and enjoy the food and atmosphere of this restaurant. Quiet, no horrid music playing like so many restaurants these days. The owners are a husband and wife team, arm friendly and competent people who make you feel welcome and at home. Don’t miss out and get there early and enjoy outside dining on the shaded patio!
I've seen the Fork revolve over the last twelve years, and I love its latest Sicilian incarnation. The food is excellent with preference to local produce and wine. Most recently we were delighted by the Monday night pizza buffet, which had fantastic pies and one of the best caprese I've ever had. It wasn't exactly a cheap Monday night meal, but I don't know how they're making money with this caliber of food either. It remains a little gem in a town with few options.
