Good drinks. Drive through quick & friendly. Wife got Orange Julius. I got pretzels. Funny- I took all three of 'em out of bag and they looked just like hot dogs. Seriously. Bit into one and sure enough, bread/pretzel. Not very tasty. Kinda' soft for a pretzel. Wouldn't recommend unless U just need bread.

This place offers a lot of nostalgia, I get it, it's awesome to pull up and look at the pictures of the ice cream treats on your way to the drive in or wherever. Unfortunately that and some unusually great customer service just isn't enough for me to spend $6 on an ice cream cone or $10+ on a parfait, split, sunday, etc. etc. It is something I will do once maybe twice each summer as a treat but that's it. Sidenote: I tried the Orange Julius after it's long awaited addition to the DQ menu and it was not an orange Julius at least not how you'd remember it from the mall so long ago. This was something.....not.....good. lol. It wasn't just that it wasn't like it used to be it was also just awful. I can't compare it to anything so I'll just say that it didn't taste good. Sorry OJ fans =(

At the point I'm very disappointed in this location they've been doing well up until their new team that they have seems like they just can't do their jobs right unfortunately and then they give you excuse after excuse of how they can't help you and they don't even have any documentation that they said that they documented about your situation that occurred to try to get a resolution and you just continue to get to run about on top of they won't accommodate to you in any way it's either whenever it's convenient for them or just they're going to keep on giving you the run-around until they will not help you get anything replaced or resolved for you service is nothing like it used to be I say this location should probably try to seek out some of the old employees that they used to have and try to get them back on staff extremely disappointed in this location service and their food and quality!!!!!!

The historic Lake Avenue Dairy Queen. Except for the chili cheese dogs, which they just brought back, they have not brazier or grill, but their ice cream specialties are as good as ever. My favorites are the Peanut Buster Parfait and the Banana Split, as well as the Hot Fudge and Strawberry Sundaes. Very good service by the requisite American teenage kids. Just like the Old Days.

So much for supporting the local neighborhood dairy queen. I arrived at the drive through at 10:30am on October 23, 2024 and the worker tells me to wait and they'll get back to me for my order which I thought was a little weird considering they had a half hour to open and there was no one else in line. I waited 10 minutes and got no response when I asked if I can order. I drove up to the window and waited 5 mote minutes and didn't see them at all which was strange considering the building is so small that if they were doing something, they would pass the window at least once but most likely they were hiding in the back of the shop doing nothing
Always the best Place to get a Strawberry Bannana Julius, from 2-5 half off mon-fri. Their Mocha Moo Lattes are my kids favorites

These folks are so nice. Took great care of us. My blizzard was missing one thing and I asked them to just throw some on top, I would have been happy with that but they completely remade it.

On Wednesday 07/10/24 at approximately 8:45 pm this Hispanic looking young mouthy teenager really did tell me to loose my attitude if I come back, because I asked her for a lid for my blizzard. I ordered 2 blizzards and asked for the total at the speaker part of the drive-thru. This horrible waste of a human being told me it was $25 something for two blizzards. So I asked her I said is two blizzards really $25. She said oh well I thought you wanted 3 so we get corrected and then she said pull up. I still wanted to know my total because I didn't have my card and only at much cash. I get up there and she hands me the first blizzard no lid. I need to get it home it's not for me. So I wait patiently for the rest of my food and ask her hey can I please have a lid for this other blizzard that doesn't have one.
