From the moment you step into their newly renovated restaurant, you know you’re in for a treat. First of all, this place is very much OPEN and we’re very glad they are! From the atmosphere to the drinks (try the black orchid margarita) to the steaks and the staff—excellent. This is our new favorite place in Pueblo.

Klam Shell is a newly renovated restaurant that offers a cozy and intimate atmosphere with soft lighting and decor reflecting the area's history. The friendly staff provide excellent and unobtrusive service, making guests feel welcomed. The menu is simple and straightforward, featuring four main items: prime rib, steaks, and salmon. The prime rib is often praised for being perfect when ordered medium rare, served with horseradish, au jus, garlic mashed potatoes, vegetables, salad, and garlic bread. Both steaks, including a ribeye and a couple of other steaks, are flavorful and well-prepared. The salmon is also highly appreciated. The restaurant’s vintage look has been modernized, transforming it from a former steelworkers bar into a quality steakhouse. Drinks like the black orchid margarita are recommended. With fair prices, good atmosphere, and delicious food, Klam Shell is becoming a favorite in Pueblo, ideal for those wanting a good meal in a warm setting. Reservations are suggested on busy nights.
