I’m actually very thankful for this store, everything about it is authentically Mexican. The products, the produce, the meat, and the people. This store gave me the feeling of community I needed to feel. If you want to treat your friends and family to authentic Mexican meat- this is where you need to go. My family is from Chihuahua Mexico and we would drive to Colorado Springs before this for our specific needs.
Best Family Owned Mexican Butcher Shop in Pueblo. The rest of the Mexican butcher shops just have learned from the Chavez family of how to run a great business. Also, many butchers at the other shops have learned their skills from the one and only Don Ernesto.Even when overwhelmed with having a busy day, they make it their number one priority to give their customers the best service they can get. All businesses have their ups and downs, but the family keeps a smile on their face.

I went in to purchase some chicharonnes, as I had heard that they were good. I was really impressed by how clean and organized the store was. Their chicharonnes are large and very meaty. I will definitely be back to try more of their products. Hopin’ they have chili pods and ojas for tamales!
