Love the waitress wearing saloon costumes plus the bartender gave us great service. We had Chicharron’s for appetizers and then roast beef & turkey open face meal. The chicharrons was the best part of the meal. They came out sizzling & popping. The turkey& roast beef were terrible. Wish we had eaten someplace else in Silverton.

Stopped here while taking the train from Durango to silverton. Very busy with some motor bike groups, but the waitress/hostess was very friendly and helpful. She was moving fast to take care of everyone. It’s a sandwich and fries kind of stop with drinks. The staff dress up look saloon girls. If you’re taking the train, get here fast to use to the restroom because it’s a 1-person for women. Nothing fancy. Fast. Simple.

The owner is amazing! The bar staff and everyone is amazing! The history is so cool. The owner Leslie told us so many stories.

The Shady Lady is a credit to its past and present as a woman owned and run business. Yes, the food is excellent and yes the drinks are fantastic, but the real stars are the amazing staff. Beyond providing great service, our server, Cali, was excited to share the history of the building, stories of notable Colorado women, and even tales of the spirts that may still be there. The Shady Lady is a unique gem and a MUST visit. Just don't forget to say 'Goodnight ladies' before you leave!
