What a hidden gem! We tried a few other restaurants and finally settled on Pickle Barrel. The food was outstanding and the service wonderful. Make sure you look up train times ...we came by car, so we didn't really look at the train arrivals. The Pi Kleenex Barrel can get over busy and close to catch up.
Always a great meal! Cheerful prompt service. And a big THANK YOU to Sharon for answering the phone after closing when I called about my purse, which I had left on the chair. Thanks for meeting me Monday so I could pick it up!

We were planning to eat here for dinner and Google says that the Pickle Barrel Restaurant is open until 7pm. It was a good thing we decided to double check the hours, they close at 2:30pm! We decided to eat lunch right then, and we are happy we did.The service was the best we’ve had in a long time. They gave our kid crayons and a menu first, which allowed us to pursue the menu.
