“Stopping in for dinner, we had the Bison meatloaf and the Bison lasagna- both are very recommended!! The weather was really nice on the patio, and the area is decorated with fun old signs and plates. Andrea was very friendly and smiley - very pleasant experience overall!!“

“After getting off the train in Silverton there was no other choice but the Shady Lady on Blair. Ordered a green chile burger and have never had or made a better burger in my life. Fries were incredible as well. With a packed house the service was not delayed. Great atmosphere will be returning for years to come.“

“Food was great! The owner, Ken (I believe), was very personable. He shared his story and was very funny. Too full to have dessert after lunch, we went back and ate peach cobbler for our dinner. Great experience!“

“Fast friendly service. Nice to have some pasta options. Food was good. I had the Cajun shrimp pasta. Not bad priced for a touristy area. Recommended
Vegetarian options: Did not order, but there are a number of veg dishes.
Parking: Plenty of street parking within a block.
Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu. More options than a lot of kids meals at other places“

“Absolutely couldn’t wait to come back this spring. Love talking to the frequent flyer locals, listening to the family run staff shoot banter back and forth during every meal! but more importantly Im happiest waiting in the LONG line, encouraging people to stick it out, because there isn’t a better meal for 60miles. A line out the door at 645am says something about an establishment. The menus simple but the quality of food isn’t. Best place to eat in Silverton/lake city/Ouray. Hands down no question.“
