“I went in for breakfast & the food was delicious! Customer service was wonderful! From the server taking excellent care of us to Francisco himself, he stopped by to say hi. I'd definitely go & try the lunch/dinner.I got Chili Rellano (not on breakfast menu, but still available). That Green Chili was probably 1 of the best I've tried so far.The second plate is a Chorizo omelet.“
“Some of the bench seats in the booths have rips in the vinyl but somehow this is part of the charm of the place. C & J is a locals spot and the old timers and blue collar guys are a big part of what makes the restaurant colorful and special. The waitresses are top notch and friendly, but there greatest treasure may be the breakfast/lunch cook. Her food comes fast and perfect every time. She is an artist, paying attention to the small details that make a difference. The golden brown on a pancake, the melted cheese on an omelette. Don't come expecting to find avocado toast on the menu or scrambled tofu, this is straight up American diner fare, unpretentious and done well.“
“I have no complaints!! The German meal was fantastic. The homemade salsa was flavorful with a little kick. We will be back to try some other items on the menu. A++. Only a 30 minute drive from Grand Junction. Definitely worth the drive!!Parking: Across the street and in front of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed!“
“CB's was a fun place with really good food. The chili Verde is too die for and the Navajo Tacos are the best we've had in a long time. The atmosphere and service was the best and the owner made sure we were well taken care of. She is a hoot and we will be back. Highly recommend.“
“This one is hard to review. Steaks are way overpriced, especially with the amount of gristle. Portions are relatively small with respect to price. The food is a mix of canned and homemade food that feels pretty obvious. Drink prices are somewhat overpriced, too.The atmosphere is pretty fun, though. Nothing wonderful, but like a 1980's type diner/steakhouse. Comfortable in most respects. The service was about average, at best. While it was busy, it wasn't busy enough to warrant forgotten requests and the somewhat minimal attention paid. More effort was put into "regulars", which I completely understand, from a certain perspective. All told, I have no drive to go back, but the food was good enough to warrant a try. Perhaps this visit was a "one off" deal. The prices are still a little high, but it could be a decent experience for some. Try it, but temper your expectations as a new visitor.“
“First time stopping here for breakfast on our way to Grand Junction and it's so roomy compared to the one in Montrose. We had fast and friendly service. I got the cinnamon roll to go and even the icing on the top was different than what I get in Montrose and it was delicious ? ????“
“Went last night. The parking was full so the owner came out and found us a spot. I ordered super tasting brisket and the owner asked if I tasted the prime rib. He went back in the kitchen and came out with a near dinner portion sample. The best prime rib I ever ate.“
“Always like to return to the B&C when back in town. Some of the best mexican food for a traditional restaurant. Their homemade chips and salsa are yummy and the green chile smothering my burrito is what keeps me coming back. Oh and the friendly small town atmosphere and where everyone knows someone in the place -- LOVE IT!!!“
“It's a place for the good old boys to meet for coffee and breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were good, the green chili on the breakfast burrito was amazing. Service was average and the atmosphere was rustic country, which is what you expect next to the sales yard.“
