“I was looking for a place where I could take my wife for anniversary that wasn't the same old noisy, crowded places. We tried Moody's and were so pleased with everything about this place! The food was excellent, including the vegetables that accompanied the steak. Usually the veggies just take up room on the plate, but these rivaled the main course! And the filet mignon was arguably the best filet I've ever been served in a restaurant. The setting was quiet and comfortable, and the staff was attentive but not overbearing. I would typically expect to pay a LOT of money for this kind of quality experience, but found that the pricing here was quite reasonable, and in fact less than what we would have paid at many other similar restaurants. All of this combined to make for one of the best anniversary meals we have enjoyed. Thank you for creating this kind of classy place in Grand Junction.“
“Great little food truck with a big menu. Everything we have tried has been delicious. Love the zucchini fries, Katsu chicken bowl and the Bacon burger. Great atmosphere and just an all around fun place to hang out and enjoy good food and good beer.“
“Had not been here in a while so a friend of mine and I popped in on a Friday around 10:00 a.m. they were not busy so we were seated very quickly in a lovely area with a big sunny window. It appeared that there was only one person waiting tables so it took a little while to get our menu and drinks. Our server was very nice, friendly, and offered good suggestions to my friend who had never eaten here before. There was a little mix up on my trifecta as I ordered the multi grain pancake & received a waffle. I checked with my friend to make sure I ordered correctly, and she assured me that I had asked for the pancake. Our server was very sweet and quickly ordered my pancake. My eggs were cooked perfectly, albeit a little cold. Not everyone knows how to cook medium well eggs and the chef at First Watch has this down! They have some amazing power drinks, an excellent kids menu, and a wide variety of interesting sandwiches, salads and breakfast items. Items. No matter how eclectic you're taste is, anyone and everyone can find something delectable at First Watch. The restrooms were extremely clean, as was the entire restaurant. There was a bus person standing by and as soon as anyone's plate was empty, he was right on it.We sat there for quite a while, visiting and no one really bothered us. As soon as we noticed the restaurant was getting busy and that there was a waiting line, we headed out. It's fairly easy to find, off of Patterson road, just past the Walgreens in the little strip mall down the hillKid-friendliness: Family friendly atmosphere!“
“I always go there for a nice quiet peaceful meal Good atmosphere, good food, friendly staff.Parking: Good size, lot, rear of the building.Kid-friendliness: The whole restaurant is family oriented.Wheelchair accessibility: There is no stairs, there is no upcurbs. Everything is fairly flat and the parking lot. Clear up to the front doors.“
“First, let me start with the staff. So kind and accommodating. They kept our coffees filled and they were quick and always smiled! Second, food options. I could not decide between the Breakfast Sandwich, the Biscuits and Gravy or the Open Face Turkey sandwich. Lastly, it was our Grandmother's 90th birthday and without us saying anything, they brought her an extra large cinnamon roll and sang Happy Birthday to her. Next time I'm in Grand Junction, I'm going back for sure!“
“This place got my attention right out of the gate.Tucked away inside The Brass Rail Tavern on 28 road is the window of goodness. Mike has my order waiting. Fresh made and hot is my incredible (plate size) pork tenderloin sandwich, cheese burger and fries. You need to see the actual size of this delicious pork Sammy. Our hamburger had fresh hamburger which is getting harder and harder to find these days with the ease of the frozen prepared patty.Hand cut fries? Who does that anymore? These people do and do it really well, oh and the sour cream tater salad is freaking awesome.Definitely going back soon.Highly Recommended / 5 stars.Mike and Tyler have some great food popping out of the "Window of goodness!" Go check them out.Tell them the LuckyPenny Guy sent you.“
“I love breakfast at Berna B's. The carrot cake pancakes are my absolute favorite. The waitstaff is nice, they seem to work as a team to refill drinks and bring food. The place is a little small so there can be a wait on the weekends, but the food is worth the wait.“
“It was a clean and mellow atmosphere. You go to the counter to order, and they give you a buzzer thing to indicate when your food is ready. It is first come, first serve seating. When you're done eating, you buss your own table. The majority of the ingredients are from local farms. We (family & I) had the burger with sweet potato fries, a grand valley burger with shoe string fries, and a beef quiche with fruit. All 3 meals were delicious. One surprising discovery was the stubborn black cherry soda with tarragon (yum).Overall, I had a great time and yummy food“
“Out of the 3 RANDY'S this one by far is my favorite. Staff was amazing. Food was so yummy. I actually wanted to lick my plate. I ordered my favorite,Eggs Benedict. The Hollandaise sauce was fantastic. Didn't separate at all. The other places it would separate. My companion had the corned beef hash. Looked really good. I will definitely be back to This Randy's Southside soon.“
“I loved EVERYTHING I received (heritage blue corn hushpuppies, the salmon BLT with twice cooked fries, the Southwest Limeade) and I had to stop myself from licking the inside of my glass. The food was incredible, the vibes were immaculate, the service was kind and informative...I HAVE to make my way back to Grand Junction just for this restaurant. Perfection!“
“Lovely place for a date!!!We ordered off the special menu for the appetizers and we had the cheese curds which were delicious! My significant other ordered off of the entree menu and had the lemon chicken!I ordered off the regular menu and I had the black bean burger with fries!!She had a cherry berry martini which tasted like a fruit roll up.I had the horsethief IPA, 6.7%The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We had no problem with seating as it was a Sunday evening.Vegetarian options: They don't have a big selection of vegetarian options but they're delicious!Parking: There's a free parking garage 3-5 minutes away and paid parking out front.“
“Mary's is a hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant that I recently discovered, and I can't stop raving about it! The food is absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that transport you straight to Mexico. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. It's a great local spot that exudes warmth and community, making you feel right at home. If you're in the mood for amazing Mexican cuisine, Mary's is the place to be. Also, don’t forget to try their amazing Michelada!“
“Delicious! We walked in to order for takeout and was greeted by an extremely friendly hostess! We ordered the Turkey Sandwich, Black Bean Burger with Quinoa Salad, Spicy Chickpea Soup, and Cafe Sol Salad. Everything was delicious! The ingredients tasted delicious and so fresh. We also got the vegan peanut butter chocolate donut which had so much flavor without being sweet. This is a must go spot.“
“Great lunch today! Thank you! This place is run like a tight ship. Its squeaky clean as well. 0600 for Breakfast can make a lady or a man sleep right all night knowing a light is on when rhe sun comes up. Finally found a home town sit down open early! The owner has her thumb on the pulse with a beautiful personality. The chef is full of smiles with her personality as well. The two together are quite the team to beat! Any dusty riders looking to ease their saddle sores on up to the dinner table, All trails lead to the Outlaw Cafe.“
“Delicious! Homestyle food. Big portions. The wait staff is fast friendly and helpful. I'm so glad we found this little gem. The chi Ken fried steak breakfast is the best in town! The green chili is also excellent, and I was surprised how tasty the coffee was!“
“I've been to this restaurant a few times now and this last experience was truly amazing. Our server was Sophia and I must take a moment to compliment her on her amazing level of service comparable to a Ritz-Carlton. I find that when I go to a restaurant and I pay more than I'd like, what makes all the difference in the world is service and knowing that Sophia is in charge of training for waitresses of the Devil's Kitchen is literally the best thing that could have happened to that restaurant.Sofia just exudes service, which I've only experienced a few times in my life, definitely at the Ritz-Carlton.She is a gem.And of course the food was great and the views always amazing.“
“We love the warehouse, whether it is going and getting dinner, or just wanting to go out, have a couple drinks and dance. We go to the warehouse a couple times a month for food, and even more often for live music and drinks. It is so fun to go jam to the local bands. 10/10 recommend, we bring anyone who visits to the Warehouse.“
“We had a great experience here! They were timely and prompt and their delivery and they were also very kind. There’s a little bit of a delay on our pizza for our youngest child so they were kind enough to give us two complementary ice creams for our children. The staff and the manager were very professional and kind and we totally needed that type of feeling after a hard day of biking!Kid-friendliness: They provided our kids two complementary ice creams for a small mistake they made“
“The service and burgers were excellent! We thought the queso was good but didn’t love it. The happy hour well mule was great too!Reply to the question regarding my review: I wouldn’t recommend any changes to your queso, I appreciate that it’s made in house, it just wasn’t to my liking; everything else was great.“
“We had 16 of us come for breakfast after a family wedding. They were so accommodating. Our waitress jessie(sp?) was fabulous and took care of all our needs! The food was fast, hot, and outstanding! Will def make this a go to if we are ever in grand junction again!!“
“This is SUCH a spot! It’s special because it offers a more personable touch that Starbucks can’t. Also, their changing and updating options as well as easy accommodation for their products is very easy to help when you have allergies and etc. I liked their friendliness and the flavors they had to offer!“
“Ok so we didn’t actually eat there but they catered an event on 11/11 and the food was probably the best meal I have ever eaten! The roasted carrots, garlic mashed potatoes and the beef were beyond perfection.Did I mention the best meal ever?“
“I had the greatest time at wrigleys, I go on college night where it is typically the most hectic and I always get remarkable service. The bartenders are more than personable and beyond welcoming, they are very patient with the rambunctious crowd of college degenerates and make it worth while every time! I’ve been going for five years now and never had one bad experience! Jordan is my go to bartender and always remembers my drink order everytime I’m in! Love it here!“
“Scallywags is my #1 go-to bar in town. Friendly staff, great food, and all the games you could want! Most of the bars in Junction are franchises but Scallys definitely has that home town feel. People from all walks of life come together for a few here.“
“Steak and ribs were great! Drinks were a bit slow coming out, but this place is always busy. Tonight, they turned the music up louder halfway through our meal, not sure why, and that made it hard to talk in our own booth. Most of the time, everything is on point here, just an off night.“
“Service was actually excellent here which was unexpected but much appreciated. Our server was just so kind and so incredible. Cocktails were great and meals were well priced with generous portions! Great drink menu and food options. will definitely eat here again at future visits to GJ!“
“Overall excellent dishes, great cocktails and a nice wine list. Service was impeccable. The escargot was an exact balance of blue cheese, garlic and snail - all flavors coming though nicely. The shrimp and scallops cooked perfectly. The Applewood duck salad was fresh and drizzled with a perfect dressing to balance out the sweet candied beets and the rich duck. Would like to have had the duck a bit more crispy and juicy but fine as it was on the salad. FOH new the menu and wine list intimately and were very friendly is helping us select drinks and food. They knew exactly when to check on us without being intrusive - Such great staff.“
