Was met at the door by a friendly server named Larry. I asked to sit at the bar. Kylie was the bartender, she approached me right away with a smile and immediately made me a drink. I started my meal with a salad, followed by a steak. The manager Sam checked in with me about my meal which was cooked perfectly. Overall great service!
We came the first time for the happy hour prices and the good food. We have gone back every week for years because of the great staff. The bartenders are always welcoming and friendly, especially, Sam. You can tell that the Grand Junction Applebee's is well managed because so many of the staff stick around for years.
There was a bit of a wait to be seated, but after eating there I can see why it's such a popular spot. The portions are large, our food was good, and they kept everything nice and clean. While we waited the hostess Shandiee went above and beyond to get some water for a member of our party who was getting overheated (she didn't know that was going on she just jumped in to help when we asked for water even though she was super slammed with people at the time).
