Was invited out by a client after our business day on the suggestion of taking in the Navajo Taco here. As someone who has had both homemade and restaurant as well as been in on making them, I consider myself at least a “shmuckspert” on the subject, as good ol’ Mister Sargent use to say while we were on the road together. This is where the locals eat and the food is down home good!! A wide variety of food and the service is great. Thank you for making our day and feeling right at home. We will definitely return to this downtown cafe!!!

Some of the bench seats in the booths have rips in the vinyl but somehow this is part of the charm of the place. C & J is a locals spot and the old timers and blue collar guys are a big part of what makes the restaurant colorful and special. The waitresses are top notch and friendly, but there greatest treasure may be the breakfast/lunch cook. Her food comes fast and perfect every time.
