“This place is amazing. I'm pretty sure we were seated next to a 10 seater, which was loud. I don't think we could have sat somewhere else. I could have dealt without the noise but that did not deter me from having quite possibly the best meal I've had in a very long time.We ordered chicken piccata and the salmon. Everything down to the rolls was delicious. If you're in the area or just driving through, a visit to eat at this place is an absolute must. If you go in, ask for Ryan. He was our server and provided great service.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and high chairs. The bartender / hostess was so nice.“
“This is the one place that is real . Down home atmosphere. Food was good the plates were full no cheaping out here Cindy is the best waitress was on top of all our needs . We go to Pagosa springs all the time can't believe we have not found this place sooner . Must tryParking: Big dirt lot . Lots of parking no worries.“
“I'm boondocked nearby and rode my bike in. Michael, a musician who plays there on Mondays, was a great neighbor. He told me all about his jam setup. rock on Aspen Springs if you have guys like Michael jamming there it's a place I want to come back to over and over again. Thanks for treating a cheesehead so nicely!“
“what a great experience I had this evening. I have been to Alley House numerous times over the past ten years and have always had a great time and meal while there. As a single guy I always prefer to dine at the bar and in a lot of places that means no or lackluster service. Tonight was the best service I have had there. The bartender was an obviously experienced young man who served perfectly, perfect drinks, perfect knowledge of the menu, absolutely perfect timing for my service and he was incredibly non obtrusive but perfectly engaging. I started my meal with great pork belly in peanut sauce followed by a beet salad and then an elk tenderloin that was so good I would have ordered another but was saving room for the apple fig cobbler. The best item was a tossup between the elk and the beet salad. I watched the folks working there and was so impressed with their professionalism and that they genuinely seemed to enjoy each other, which makes for an atmosphere of ease and relaxation. As I got in my truck to leave I had the feeling that this is what it must feel like to be in a low key Justin Timberlake video. I left impressed and wanting to go back, which I will.“
“What a cool off the beat'n path joint to grab a bite, and listen to some live music! The pierogi's were delicious, and brought in from Chicago, the staff was super friendly, and the Maxwell St. Polish is in my top 5 of all time sausage sammies ever!! 2 words, Carmelized Onions!! A must stop when you are in Pegosa!! Cheers!“
“We had the most delightful and fabulous waitress tonight with Riley! She was on it even with only two server’s available! She came back to us regularly, making sure we had anything we requested! And she was also a bartender! Very very capable young woman for sure. She made our entire experience a fun one. And the food was hot, fresh, and delicious! As were the margaritas! Will definitely return.“
“We came in for lunch as a group of 12. We were seated quickly, our food came quickly and it was delicious! We ordered burgers, steaks, bbq, grilled chicken, and country fried steak. All were pleased! Great atmosphere too! Thanks, from the Beulah Baptist Church crew from NC.“
“If I could give more than 5 stars, I could . EXCELLENT service. Our waitress Bridget was amazing. She was very kindhearted and good at her job. The food was VERY tasty. The food came really fast and for reasonable prices.trying this place again soon in the future.“
“Stopped in for lunch while we were passing through. Am super glad we did.I ordered the "O.G." chicken sandwich, which was a large, hand-breaded chicken fillet that was perfectly fried.Spouse ordered the green chili fries with bacon... Crispy basic cheese fries, elevated by a smothering layer of delicious (even if mild) green chili, and sprinkled with a generous amount of homemade thick, chunky bacon. The place itself is a little bit echo-y and loud, but not too bad. In warmer weather, I'd bet the outside seating is great.Yet another one of Colorado's amazing little mountain-town surprises.“
