So we had out of town guests for a few days. The winning restaurant for food and atmosphere? Coyote Moon Lounge!!!
Absolutely the best outdoor dining/drinking space in Pagosa. AND the best food!! Their Polish sausage, homemade mac and cheese, periogies, fried chicken tenders, scratch made sauces were all out of this world. Lots of shaded spaces, tables and couches. The service is on point. OHHH and the best Long Island Ice tea I have ever had. Hidden gem.
Coyote Moon Lounge was such a great find! It's just a bit off the main highway in Pagosa Springs but the atmosphere is lovely. There's an inside portion with bar seating and tables for larger groups. There's also an outdoor patio with some patio tables and chairs for the lovely evenings in Pagosa Springs. The food is unique in that it's heavily Polish, but there are hamburgers, etc on the menu. Great food: table had burgers & chicken champahon, and all were very well prepared. Appreciated the good amount of mushrooms with the chicken dish! Also my fave: sweet potato fries, deliciously crispy. Everyone really enjoyed the meal.
