“We found The Barley early on in our time in Steamboat, and it has become comfortably our favorite place to grab a beer with friends. They offer a fantastic rotating selection of mostly Colorado beers (with some tourist taps that are almost invariably excellent), friendly service by people who know their beer, and fun events on a regular basis. It can get busy in the evenings, but can also be a surprisingly quiet place to grab a drink after lunch and get some work done in the afternoons.“

“Great dinner and drinks at Besame! Our favorite Steamboat place to celebrate family time. Once again the drinks and food were the best in Steamboat and truly the best just about anywhere! Our waitress was Maria P! She was fantastic and is always so friendly and great. I highly recommend Besame!“

“This holiday inn is right at the base of the mountain and can’t beat the location or views. We’ve brought our boys up for five years straight over Memorial Day solely for their indoor/outdoor pool. It is an older location and needing some renovations but they are trying to keep up with it and any complaints you might have the staff are quick to your needs, friendly and go the extra mile every time we’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Great for any family on a budget. The restaurant on site has great food and service as well and we had the pleasure of seeing a baby moose on our last visit!“

“What a delightful little spot right off the mountain. The atmosphere was classy yet comfortable. We sat on the patio for some ice cold drinks and delicious appetizers. The wings and tacos were excellent and the tots were to die for.
Millie was a fantastic attentive bartender, making us feel not just welcomed, but right at home. The manager, Megan came out to chat and check to make sure we were doing well and even offered to take photos of our group. I highly recommend stopping here next time
you're in Steamboat.“

“I am blown away with how good the food is here. Prompt service, great clean atmosphere, very good spirit selection. I had the pan seared rocky mountain trout. It was very similar to salmon. Cooked perfectly, plate presentation was pleasant and the mixture of food on the plate had my mouth watering with every bite. Very much enjoyed the service and the food. Will definitely be back and I will recommend to anyone who passes thru.“
