“Michael Ruby, the owner and head bartender for Yampa Valley Shakers, was absolutely FANTASTIC to work with for our wedding! Ruby went above and beyond to make our day go smoothly and our guests happy (including many of our guests who were visiting from the midwest...and know how to keep a bartender busy). He was incredible at keeping an open line of communication with us starting months before our wedding date. He also worked smoothly with our wedding coordinator, and showed up early the day of, to help prep and stage. More impressively, he was flexible with a lot of last minute changes made on our end and had creative solutions for how to keep a nice flow to the evening. He has the vast experience to whip up (or help you create) a plethora of quality signature cocktails and we relied on his expertise on picking our wine selection. He even went way out of his way to surprise the bride and bridesmaids with a favorite cocktail of theirs in the bridal suite. All in all, we can’t say enough good things about our experience with Yampa Valley Shakers! They were professional, experienced, accommodating, and fun! -James & Courtney“

“Everything here is delicious and the staff can’t be beat. If you haven’t eaten here, you’re missing out! The most unique food experience you’ll have in Steamboat.“

“Excellent place if you are looking for a delicious craft beer. Added mixed drinks over the years, slows service, but certainly increased options. Staff is friendly, lots of a variety or seating available. Can get busy on typical nights, so be prepared to jostle up to the bar. Always a great stop!“

“We were so happy with the service, atmosphere, and especially the food! Very very good. Highly recommend. 👏😁“
“This holiday inn is right at the base of the mountain and can’t beat the location or views. We’ve brought our boys up for five years straight over Memorial Day solely for their indoor/outdoor pool. It is an older location and needing some renovations but they are trying to keep up with it and any complaints you might have the staff are quick to your needs, friendly and go the extra mile every time we’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Great for any family on a budget. The restaurant on site has great food and service as well and we had the pleasure of seeing a baby moose on our last visit!“

“Snow Bowl was CRANKING tonight and the waitress taking orders from the lanes was absolutely killing it on her own. She was working so hard and so were the rest of the staff. Thanks Snow Bowl you are the best!“

“Four of us went for happy hour 4-5:30 and took advantage of getting to try 5 different Tapas since they were 1/2 off (still pricey for such small bites) but delicious (except for the octopus...over charred and very chewy). The specialty drinks are 30 percent off and I highly recommend the Tipsy Carrot (you will never guess this spicy marg had fresh pressed carrot juice). My favorite dish was the Cubano entree...massive sandwich with great flavor. Our server was very nice considering how busy we kept her. The place had a great vibe, much larger inside than expected and great music. I wish they had a few healthier options to add to a lot of fried choices but I'd definitely go again and again (too bad I live several states away).“

“Eating at White Rabbit Tavern on our first night in town was very easy and enjoyable! So glad we made the reservation for our group of 6. Staff was so friendly and helped make the night special for our two guests that had birthdays! Everything tasted great! Looking forward to our return.“

“Being Catholic, we appreciated Brass offering a trout dish and scallop special on a Friday in Lent.
We started out with a Whipped Feta & Bruschetta ($15), Blistered Shishito Peppers ($14), and Swiss Fondue Mac & Cheese ($16) starters. Next time we would just order the bruschetta and 2 Mac & Cheeses - it was amazing!
Our party of 10 ordered 7 Pan Seared Rocky Mountain Trout ($36) and 3 other dishes. Best trout we have ever had! Avoid the Scallops Special. It was $55, 4 scallops, and chewy.
Our waitress Claire, who had 4 other large tables HUSTLED! She also gave great recommendations.“
