Moe's Original BBQ - Steamboat is an excellent place for BBQ lovers. The staff is extremely nice and kid-friendly, even giving out stickers. The jalapeno grits are a must-have if available. The pulled pork and chicken are excellent choices. The sliders are a full meal in themselves and are out of this world. The chili is spicy and all meat, just like mom makes, offering comfort food. They have a chalk wall for kids, and the restaurant is clean, with a bar counter to sit at, allowing diners to see who is cooking their food. Despite some confusion with orders, the service is amazing, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The blackened mahi sandwich is highly recommended, while the banana pudding may need improvement. Serving sizes are huge, especially with combo platters, ensuring no one goes hungry. The sweet potato casserole is a must-try, although the hush puppies lacked flavor. Overall, Moe's is a good place for a quick bite after a long day on the mountain.
