Wow, this place was incredible and so accommodating to vegans. We were so impressed by the variety and diversity of flavors, and the servers who knew just when to pop in and check in on us without ever making us feel rushed. It's a bustling, semi-loud restaurant, but that's a sign of a business lots of people love.
The food was superb. We had the trout and the Wagyu steak. The service was great. However we were not expecting to pay $16.00 for two iced teas Ann 1 refill for each glass. We look forward to eating here again.
Our second time dining at 221 and it was better than the first time. I'm not a picture taker so you won't see photos of what we had but it all was outstanding. My wife, in fact, declared the crab cake appetizer as the best she has ever had, and she's ordered it at restaurants all over the US and Europe. My bison strip was perfectly prepared and seasoned. Our party also had trout, waygu flat iron steak and bass. All the dishes and accompanying vegetables were wonderful....
