“Everything was delicious!! My spouse is a Celiac so gluten free is important. They have dedicated GF toaster and anything cooked on the grill can be cooked in a pan. The hostess and server were very knowledgeable about GF and their kitchen. My spouse had scrambled eggs, ham, and GF pancakes.

I had the stuffed French toast. It was amazing!! 3 large slices of perfectly cooked French toast. The mix of cheesecake filling and strawberry was lovely. Grandma’s apples were a taste of warmth and comfort. We both enjoyed our meals. The food came quickly and our order was correct. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful.“

My family and I flew in from Houston for a Thanksgiving week getaway, and after hearing great things about The Original, we decided to try it out. Let me just say—we were not disappointed!

Our server, Ray D., was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. The food was phenomenal—everything came out fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared.

Ray D. truly made our dining experience memorable, and we highly recommend him and this restaurant to anyone visiting Denver. If you’re looking for great service and amazing food, this is the place to be. Five stars from me and my family“

“This is a neighborhood gem! The venue is a cute renovated old building with large windows and plenty of seating--a long bar with a mix of banquettes and tables. The food was wonderful! We have two appetizers, the meatballs and the patatas bravas. Both were great. Tender meatballs with a delicious red sauce and crispy potatoes tossed in a red pepper sauce. We shared two mains, the pesto pasta (with homemade pasta that had a perfect texture) and the steak frites. Again, both were quite enjoyable. Garlicky-herby sauce that wasn't too far in any direction. Tender steak with a wonderful peppercorn sauce. Great fries, too. Crispy exterior and fluffy interior. For dessert we had the chocolate terrine, which more or less was a slice of ultra dense chocolate, chocolate truffle-like cake. Divine. We're looking forward to another visit, especially to try additional pasta dishes. For those who drink, the wine prices are very reasonable. You can have two (or three) glasses and not worry about price. They also kept overall pricing congruent with a casual, neighborhood spot but chef'd up the food. We need more places like this in Denver.“

“Excellent Pad Thai. Very well balanced spice without overpowering amounts of Tamarind. Fresh bean sprouts. Food made by a craftsman! If you want to muscle it up with chili spice the blend they prepared lit the fire. The mango sticky rice for dessert really is memorable.“

“What a great find! Really great breakfast menu of quality food and service. Wonderful cinnamon French toast with over easy eggs and toast ands perfectly done bacon. Very kind and attentive staff, with humor and great energy. Shared space with bar on one side and tables in the middle room and pool table in third area. Little worn feeling to the place but certainly clean. Go for the food and friendliness. You won’t be disappointed.“

“It's a cool neighborhood spot, good atmosphere and the staff is friendly and attentive.
The pho though is basic at best. I thought the broth was thin, and the cooking rushed. Portions are small for the price, with the bowls steeply flat-sided rather than round. Ingredients like tripe are unavailable, and no fish sauce either“

Especially appreciate the newly added vegan section of the menu, the addition of a plant based soy chorizo meat option, and all the fresh and healthy ingredients alongside the delicious staples. Also the best crepes I've had in a long time, crispy and doughy at the same time, yum. Thanks so much, we'll be back all the time!“

“Great experience with a mistake. Mike the manager made all the difference. We eat here maybe once a month, often ordering in and picking up from the restaurant. I called and shared my issue with Mike with one of our meals and he went above and beyond. Just another reason why we love eating at this restaurant, and why we will continue to return. “My wife and I tried the meatball sub and a chocolate-strawberry cannoli. We’re not usually big cannoli people, but this one looked great and tasted even better. The strawberry flavor was fresh, not too sweet, and the shell was perfectly crunchy. The meatballs were flavorful, the sauce was solid, and the bread had a nice crust with a soft interior. We didn’t try the pizza, but everything we ordered was really good. The guy who took our order was also very friendly.“
