“Absolutely a great local spot! Had the QuesiBirra tacos and was very impressed. So impressed, that I got them twice. We also had the Cali Burrito and chilli cheese fries, which were also very good. If you're nearby, absolutely come and check out this family owned spot! Oh and they recently remodeled and it looks great!“

“Service was what is 'Normal' for that place. Not bad or good, just service. Food was GOOD to me. It's s a comfort food for me because there was one about 2 blocks from my house when I was growing up. I have not eaten there in probably 20 or 25 years! I loved it then and love it now!“

“Interesting elevated cocktails and snappy dogs all in a chill environment. This is the catch all bar. You can have a $5 beer or a $16 incredibly well crafted cocktail. Hot dogs served late with a natural casing. Server was super friendly tonight. Never had a bad service experience.“

“I worked in Chicago for many years doing Ironwork. I have also been to Soldiers field many times for Bears games. This restaurant brings back great memories of then. I have had the beef and sausage combo with mozzarella and giardiniera and it was outstanding. Such a fun place to go. We will most definitely be back. Bob Percy“
“Let go of the idea that a hot dog is a hot dog is a hot dog. Generous with the toppings and I have never had a bun like that. I’ll have to ask about it next time. It’s like a Turkish bun and a French bun had a baby (and toasted it and put a hot dog in it).“

Food wise - 100% legit classic Mom & pop hole in the wall type goodie foodie joint.
Location/area - may not be for the faint of heart, however some of the best food and nicest people you will encounter.“

“This is probably the best burger there is out there… no kidding! The patties were extremely flavorful and moist, while the toppings were pure perfection, and dont get me started on the fries, the fries had the best crunch with the perfect amount of salt. Im definitely coming again! Also, there is one downside… I forgot photos!🤣🤣🤣“

“Came back in. There was an online bogo deal that was going on. We were not warned about it and how many orders were ahead of us even though it was empty inside. It took 35 minutes to get our food. A small apology and offer of a drink or shake was made.“

“I stopped in last night (5/4/26) around 4 and as usual was impressed with the friendly service and great food. I always notice that when they are super busy, the younger gentleman that works the fryers, is always working super hard and definitely keeps everything running smooth and fast. I mention him because workers like him should be getting top pay or they can easily take their skills elsewhere. I would definitely not like to see him go and I'm sure management feels the same way. Check it out, it's worth it.“

“Wrote this review to highlight Izzy! We came in close to closing time, and she greeted us with genuine kindness and welcoming energy. We knew it was late but we really needed some food, and Izzy didn’t let us feel like we were a burden. Getting there so close to closing, we definitely didn’t anticipate such great service and attentiveness! She really made something as small as grabbing a bite to eat such a pleasant experience. “Go Go Go. Right now go to hamburger Stand. It's wonderful!! Kareem was the one who took our order. He was amazing. The prices are also amazing. The food was made fresh and served hot. The Twinkie shake was delicious! Everything was delicious 😋. We ate in the restaurant. While we ate Kareem came out to see if I needed any more Coke Zero and made sure we were enjoying our food.“
