I ended up reconnecting with a friend of 25 years because of Las Animas Grill. While visiting Trinidad I mentioned to my family that I served in the Corps with a guy from there. The owner overheard, asked me his name, and within two hours I was on the phone with the guy. You don’t get that kind of service at a chain. On top of that, the food was top tier and he was excellent to my kids.
Definitely on the comeback list!
