Ice Cream Shops near Vail

“Stopped in a few months ago with my wife for a coffee dessert because all the coffee shops in vail were closed. We got the coffee flavor amongst others and were very impressed with all the flavors we sampled. All very high quality. The manager was super nice and even threw in a heftier serving of the coffee ice cream (at no charge) just to make sure I got my caffeine fix given the circumstances. We also ended up talking to her for a while and it was very refreshing to meet a manager who actually cared about her customers beyond just making a sale. We’re not from CO but we will definitely be stopping in whenever we’re in the area. Highly recommended.“

“My kids love this place! Ok.... and so do the parents :) entering the store we felt very welcomed by the staff. They were super helpful accommodating my 2 year olds requests... even I can barely keep up with them myself! Ice cream and sorbet was delicious.

“We had raspberry cheesecake ice cream waffle cones that we both thought was the best ice cream we had ever had. We went back the following night at 8:30 on a Sunday evening for a sandwich and were told they couldn’t make us a sandwich because they were going to start closing at 8:30 in Sunday’s , Eventhough there were about 10 people ordering ice cream and sitting at tables. We were so disappointed as we had skipped several other places to walk all the way from lions head to get a sandwich before there 9:00 closing time. So we just got ice cream and walked back to our Airbnb . We thought the location off the street down steps to the basement was neat.“

Great spot for AM or Après snacks of crepes, gelato, bon bon, sandwiches and THE BEST HOT CHOCOLATE IN THE WORLD!!!! My wife is a pro hot coco drinker and she swears this is the best ever. I loved it too. Crepes were awesome but the plain is the best or Nutella if you like it. Apple strudel crepe is served hot with a side of gelato is good. Gelato is soooo good. Gelato is wonderful. Lots of flavors and servings are small so you can have a lot of them. fast service. Eat inside or out. Great place after dinner or skating or AM before skiing. “It's one of the best places to make a stop while you are at the mountain, they serve ice cream, home made cookies, milshakes, paninis, sandwiches chili and tomate soups. Besides they have adult treats! If you want a litlle sip of courage to get to the bottom of the mountain they sell alcohol too. That place is open to anyone on the familly!!
