May Palace is a popular Chinese restaurant in the Valley, known for its good quality food and welcoming service. The restaurant has been owned by the same family for 38 years, which adds to its charm and reliability. Many customers enjoy dishes like Beef with Broccoli, Crab Rangoon, and Vegetable egg rolls. The food is consistently great, with favorites such as hot and sour soup and sesame tofu receiving high praise for their flavor and quality.
Recent visitors have highlighted the Mongolian beef as tender and flavorful, coated in a rich, savory sauce with just the right amount of sweetness. The twice cooked pork is also considered one of the best Chinese dishes in Colorado. Additionally, the Thai coconut curry offers a creamy, fragrant, and bold flavor experience, with a velvety texture and perfect spice level that keeps diners coming back. The menu includes a variety of options such as kung pao tofu, which delivers a slightly sweet and tangy sauce with spice from chili peppers, vegetables, and peanuts, and dim sum for those seeking traditional Chinese flavors.
While some reviews mention issues with auto-charging and tipping, the friendly and attentive service, along with the warm, inviting ambiance, make May Palace a dependable choice for those seeking reliable and flavorful Chinese food. Whether craving classic Chinese dishes or dishes with a Thai twist, this place remains a favorite in the Valley.
