Once we received our cooked shrimp the meal was good. service was fine. I do not like seeing a service charge on my bill without being told about. I was happy the manager took it off the bill.
we arrived 30 minutes after a Bravo event early the restaurant was no more than half full and hostess refused to seat us with the only excuse being that it wasnt our reservation time she was immature and seemed to want to exert her power. We had friends from out of town who we were excited to bring to Mountain Standard. The service once we sat was great. As a local resident and a frequent customer this was really off putting. We had an exceptional dining experience! From the attentive staff to the delicious biscuits, and the mouthwatering trout, everything was simply wonderful. We will definitely be back!
