Great vibe for live music. Downstairs was buzzing on a Thursday in the offseason, they’re clearly doing things right. We popped in on a free acoustic set but I would happily pay any cover to support an establishment that clearly is invested in a quality live music experience. It was very refreshing to visit from Denver. The next time in town we will be getting down, at Shakedown.

Shakedown Bar has such an amazing atmosphere! The vibe is energetic but laid back at the same time, and the live band performance took the whole night to another level. Great drinks, great crowd, and definitely a place I’d come back to again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good music and good times!

If you’re looking for a tiny expensive underground bar with live music that smells like incense, you’ve found it. It is rather odd that they have a cover charge when there’s live music and then also have a band tip line on every tab. We were crammed in like sardines on a Saturday night with a bunch of 50+ men awkwardly swaying to the live music and trying to hit on every woman under 50 since they’d left their wives…wherever. Add in the locals who reek like pot trying...
