We have been going to Yama for many years and it never disappoints. My favorite restaurant at Vail.

Finally made it to Yama! Noisey, but it's a vibe. The Toro Unagi was to die for. We ordered it 3x. Food was delicious. Servers/food runners knew their stuff. Can't wait to come back.

Just fabulous sushi with exceptional service. Small and intimate, perfect for a great date night!

Always awesome! Yozu is the bomb. The two fish specials were so fresh and tasty. Patrick always the cherry host. Can't miss a trip to Yama.

Our reservation was at 8:15 pm, but we were close to the restaurant and wanted to see if we could come in earlier. The manager was so nice. He asked us to wait a few minutes while he figured out how to handle it, and he made it happen. He is very customer-oriented and looks genuinely happy to help.

The food was really bland and uninteresting. Nothing had much flavor, and every dish tasted kind of the same. On top of that, everything was overpriced, and the food took a long time to come out. It wasn’t terrible, just disappointing and forgettable.

food was great!! but since me and my friend were teens service was not so great. I will say food came fast though after we ordered.

Excellent service and one of the best sushi rolls I've ever eaten. First night in Vail without reservations but they were very accommodating and had us seated with a minimum wait.

Yama Vail is an excellent spot with a very welcoming atmosphere. The host was genuinely friendly and made us feel at home right away. The food was outstanding, fresh, well prepared, and full of flavor, with every dish arriving exactly as expected. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the overall experience felt relaxed and thoughtful. Highly recommend Yama Vail for great food and a warm, enjoyable dining experience.

Yama is quaint, lovely and has a smallish but charming ambiance. The food was excellent, staff both cordial and accommodating. Well done!!

Sushi was just meh. Low rent grocery store wine selection that’s served too warm. Their cab is from Lava Cap. Service was good but don’t waste your money here.

As always, Yama never disappoints. Gus and Mia were absolutely fantastic guides on our fishing adventure. Thank you!

This is a great quaint sushi spot in Vail. Sushi was great. They do seem to add a lot fees to the bill at the end (large party fee of 20% for 5 or more and credit card processing of 3%).

Restaurant is actually closed for off season. But I made a reservation for my 21st birthday still. Showed up and it was closed. EXTREMELY LAME!
