We went for prime rib night. Overall, good prime rib. Despite the cuts being rarer than ordered (medium was medium-rare, one medium-rare was correct, and one medium-rare was absolutely rare), it tasted good. The roasted garlic was a nice touch. Salads were also very good (no wilted lettuce).
Got to hang with the bartender yesterday and meet some of the locals.As somebody who grew up in the area, it’s fun to see the change in the town, but also some things not change at all.Avuncular in Fort;Collins was not a terrible success, I honestly as a past restaurant owner and very happy to see them succeeding up in Wellington.They’ve got the place set up just like a local would want, and the staff is friendly, kind, and an attentive. Delicious food all around! Wonderful atmosphere! Full menu of options! The bacon was super delicious straight off the side of a pig. They actually have a bar so you can have cocktails with your breakfast! I love this place and I have a happy uncle I couldn’t love the name anymore! Our waitress has a great spunky attitude! Wonderful experience! Highly recommend
