Sam's Gyros & Kabobs in Woodland Park is the BEST & MOST AUTHENTIC food I've had since I've been back from the Middle East! It took me back to eating food in Iraq, Syria, and Jordan! This place makes me not want to tell people because I don't want not be able to get in next time! 😆”

“After years of driving past, we stopped in for dinner. It's definitely not fancy, but the food was so good, and the prices were very reasonable for such large servings. We REALLY over-ordered but will enjoy all the leftovers! The soup was thick, hot, and spicy with rich flavor. The fried rice had large, tender pieces of chicken, but the peas and carrots were tough and seemed freezer-burned. The veggie egg fu yung was light and fluffy, covered with large strips of perfectly cooked veggies in a nice brown sauce - we've only had this dish with small pieces of veggies in with the egg, so we were pleasantly surprised. The Szechuan chicken was spicy and flavorful, with lots of broccoli and carrots. We will definitely return but will get take-out instead of dining in.

Vegetarian options: Peas and carrots were not good (frozen/freezer-burned?) but the other veggies seemed fresh and were plentiful.”

“Can't beat Tuesday night pizza deals. The pan reminds me of Pizza Hut back in the 80's. So very good! They're really quick. Nothin beats hot pizza out of the oven!!”

“I normally didn't write a lot of reviews. I'm the type of person that feels if you do something well it should be celebrated.

I love spicy food. Most of the time I'll order extra spicy and end up disappointed . This place was different. I ordered General Tso chicken and asked for extra spicy and the delivered! You can see all the extra spices on the chicken itself plus there were plenty of chili peppers mixed throughout.

There was a wonderfully nice girl working (we didn’t get her name), she wasn’t even the one taking our order but she overheard us talking to the other girl working (who was also super friendly, asking us genuinely about our day), we were saying that we were just headed back from our day of adventures and were looking for a good place to catch the sunset. So not only were they just super friendly and gave a good recommendation for a sunset spot, but she actually ran back over just as we were about to drive away and gave us a whole list of spots to hit!
