“I wanted to give 5 stars just for the employees' efforts. Clearly this location has severe staffing issues due to the wait. However, the girls working were so apologetic and were obviously doing their best to keep the shift going. They let us know the food was being worked on and although it was a while, they maintained professionalism and a kind attitude. I have personally worked food service where you have so few people that the front of house IS the back of house as well, and I suspect this was the case. The food was good (I am sure particularly fresh given the situation). My only other comment is that the parking lot has a lot of trash and there weren't receptacles - likely is not Taco Bell specifically since other stores share the lot. Anyway, the workers at this location work so hard and I hope their managers (and the managers themselves who are working alongside with them) are recognizing solid work ethic.“

We are from the south and we have yet to find a good Mexican style restaurant here in ct.
The tacos are a 7/10 the tortillas are store bought. The tacos are double tortillas so
It fills you up faster. The meat is fresh. Steak, fajita, Pastor, Tripa, even the fish is grilled here. My husband likes their fish tacos, menudo and the tripa tacos are one of his favorites.
The pinto beans are fresh.
The Rice is not good at all. It tastes like plastic without seasoning. . That’s why the the 4 stars.
When we go as a family we just go for the tacos.
And their menudo. The staff speaks both English and Spanish. They welcome all but the kids need to be seated at all times. The food coming out is HOT.“

Dietary restrictions: We have nut and dairy allergies so plenty here for us like chicken, black beans, guacamole, pico.

Parking: Easy in and out.“

We were greeted, seated, and served in short order, and the food was lovely. A chamming mix of culture and cuisine, classic diner style meets authentic Mexican dishes. A quiet place to eat and Cisco himself stopped by to check in after our meal and introduce himself, even treating myself and my guest to a churro on the house - if that makes my biased, guilty!

“Stopped by for lunch on the go while I was in town for work. The gentleman at the counter let me know they had a Gazpacho soup special and it sounded good on a hot day. I was expecting a blended soup but was surprised to see a chunky cold mix like salsa but it was delicious! Really refreshing and good flavor. Served with a small side of chips. Also ordered 2 enchiladas and they were tasty, chicken and beef were flavorful and light on the cheese. Would visit again when in the area!“

If you want to sip margaritas out of a fish bowl and guacamole made table side then Puerto Vallarta and Azteca might be for you. If you want fast food from chain restaurants then there’s Chipotle and Moe’s. But if you’re looking for the best authentic Mexican fare the Berlin Turnpike has to offer, look no further the Salsa 4 Taqueria! It’s a hole in wall that you would drive by if you weren’t looking for it. I had beef empanadas, a trio of tacos, el pastor, pork belly, and deep fried shrimp. I’ve never been to Mexico but I imagine this is what I would get on the streets there. Be prepared to wait for your food. Empanadas are made to order and the corn taco shells are pressed and cooked to order with a choice of soft or crunchy! The el pastor was very flavorful, pork belly with a nice char on the outside melts in your mouth, the batter fried shrimp were large and delicious, shredded beef in the empanadas was braised to perfection! Sorry for the lack of pictures, I dug in before it crossed my mind. Yes, it’s that good!“
