We went for Happy Hour today, Saturday 8/9/25... margaritas were perfect, my wife had the Chicken & Cheese Taquittos I had the Tuna Tartar Nachos and we shared Chips & Salsa. All was fresh & quite delicious! Isabella, our server, was great, friendly, prompt and on point! We highly recommend & will certainly return!“

The people working here were ever so helpful and accommodating to my weird requests and enjoyable to talk to! The guy making the food even got me fresh lettuce when I explained I basically just wanted a bowl of lettuce with a side of chicken. “Worth a stop. The environment is warm and welcoming and all the food is delicious. I had the Pollo Borracho and my wife had Carne Asada. The chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. The sauce was unbelievable, and the beans were perfection.

If you want to sip margaritas out of a fish bowl and guacamole made table side then Puerto Vallarta and Azteca might be for you. If you want fast food from chain restaurants then there’s Chipotle and Moe’s. But if you’re looking for the best authentic Mexican fare the Berlin Turnpike has to offer, look no further the Salsa 4 Taqueria! It’s a hole in wall that you would drive by if you weren’t looking for it. I had beef empanadas, a trio of tacos, el pastor, pork belly, and deep fried shrimp. I’ve never been to Mexico but I imagine this is what I would get on the streets there. Be prepared to wait for your food. Empanadas are made to order and the corn taco shells are pressed and cooked to order with a choice of soft or crunchy! The el pastor was very flavorful, pork belly with a nice char on the outside melts in your mouth, the batter fried shrimp were large and delicious, shredded beef in the empanadas was braised to perfection! Sorry for the lack of pictures, I dug in before it crossed my mind. Yes, it’s that good!“

“My current top hidden gem for amazing and authentic Mexican food. Hidden in La plaza del Mercado, this spot has the most amazing tripe soup, where the tripe was properly cleaned, no funky taste/smell, cooked perfectly tender. Great caldo de res as well, the meat was tender and had a strong beef flavor, soup was light and refreshing and the veggies provided a nice natural sweetness and the squash was incredible inside. Their tacos are great as well and their pricing is a bargain and their portions are quite good.“

“Just moved here and FB recommended this place off prior places I’ve visited in Arizona. I thought it was going to be a stand alone restaurant but it’s in this huge dining hall. The place is incredible. Literally a mix of everything for every walk of life and I highly recommend going down there just for that. Back to Burrito Loko. I had the Birria Tacos and they’re the best ive had in the area. My wife is super picky but said the steak burrito was good too, which says a lot honestly.
