“I was trying to get home from a road trip and was tired of eating fast food. I needed a vegetable. But also, didn’t want to actually stop and eat food or find a grocery store. The people working here were ever so helpful and accommodating to my weird requests and enjoyable to talk to! The guy making the food even got me fresh lettuce when I explained I basically just wanted a bowl of lettuce with a side of chicken. The cashier wanted to make sure I didn’t get overcharged for my non-salad. Was the food better than any other Chipotle? No. It was not. But the service was top notch.“

“This place is amazing in all regards, it is our go-to dining out spot of choice. As others have noted, the birria is absolutely incredible. The detail that brings my family in consistently is that it is a standard meat you can order any of their many offerings with. Kudos for that idea ! Note: They are no longer at 50 Rapallo avenue. They moved right around the corner to a more visible location that will get more foot traffic passing by, I hope it works out well for them. I believe the attached map has the new location correctly shown, the posted address has not been updated. As of mid April 2026, they were closed to renovate the new location, I was told their projected re-opening was going to be in early - mid May. Good idea to call first. If the owners or any customers have an update on that, it would be great to post. My daughter and I are suffering from La Casa Mania birria withdrawals and need a fix soon !“

“The food was amazing! We tried the birria tacos, steak tacos, and guacamole with chips, it was all so flavorful and delicious! The meat portion in the tacos was more generous than other places we’ve tried.
The kid at the front was so kind and patient while I took forever deciding what I wanted (I wanted to try everything, and I’ll keep going back till I do). He was very polite with me and my kids, and then was being silly with the kids like a big brother, they loved it! He made the experience much more than just waiting for a takeout order. If you want to sip margaritas out of a fish bowl and guacamole made table side then Puerto Vallarta and Azteca might be for you. If you want fast food from chain restaurants then there’s Chipotle and Moe’s. But if you’re looking for the best authentic Mexican fare the Berlin Turnpike has to offer, look no further the Salsa 4 Taqueria! It’s a hole in wall that you would drive by if you weren’t looking for it. I had beef empanadas, a trio of tacos, el pastor, pork belly, and deep fried shrimp. I’ve never been to Mexico but I imagine this is what I would get on the streets there. Be prepared to wait for your food. Empanadas are made to order and the corn taco shells are pressed and cooked to order with a choice of soft or crunchy! The el pastor was very flavorful, pork belly with a nice char on the outside melts in your mouth, the batter fried shrimp were large and delicious, shredded beef in the empanadas was braised to perfection! Sorry for the lack of pictures, I dug in before it crossed my mind. Yes, it’s that good!“

“My current top hidden gem for amazing and authentic Mexican food. Hidden in La plaza del Mercado, this spot has the most amazing tripe soup, where the tripe was properly cleaned, no funky taste/smell, cooked perfectly tender. Great caldo de res as well, the meat was tender and had a strong beef flavor, soup was light and refreshing and the veggies provided a nice natural sweetness and the squash was incredible inside. Their tacos are great as well and their pricing is a bargain and their portions are quite good.“

I know that ground beef dishes aren't necessarily authentic but there is a way to keep the meal authentic with ground beef and I dont think this restaurant followed that code. Beautiful meal presentation.. Everything was very tasty but seemed a little lazy. Sour cream in packets, No homemade much of anything. Regardless, great meal. Marinated pork and ground beef tacos and a ground beef enchilada. I enjoyed my meal but it didnt stand out as anything special.“

If you are looking for something tasty I recommend the cemita for 16$ you get a sandwich that will fill you up for the rest of the day, I also want to say the customer service is great a really kind mother and her son working there. “Just moved here and FB recommended this place off prior places I’ve visited in Arizona. I thought it was going to be a stand alone restaurant but it’s in this huge dining hall. The place is incredible. Literally a mix of everything for every walk of life and I highly recommend going down there just for that. Back to Burrito Loko. I had the Birria Tacos and they’re the best ive had in the area. My wife is super picky but said the steak burrito was good too, which says a lot honestly. We’ll be back, likely multiple times a week as there’s just a ton of great company there.“
