“Love to get my iced teas here, fresh blended of course. So much to look at down to hand crafted hot sauces with interesting takes, to the cutest axolotl, antique jewelry, & books from when you were a child that bring nostalgia. Wander down & take a look!“
“Saw a sign on the side of the road and since I’m a coffee junkie I decided to stop in. And here I am back again for a repeat cup because it is so good!! Come support this small business and get a delicious cup of coffee and excellent sandwich/wrap options! If you’re walking the Farmington trail, this cafe is right off of it, so you can easily grab a coffee or a treat while you’re taking a stroll. Will definitely be back!“
“Great atmosphere! Came for pre-turkey day trivia which also was a blanket drive-- good cause! We like ciders and sours so did a flight with Sucker Punch'd and Scorpion Bowl being our favorites! Service was fast, friendly and helpful (the keg of scorpion kicking with my pour so they have me another of my choice, which was awesome). Would def stop in again!“
“One of my favorite go-to breweries in New Britain! Have only had good experiences with the service here, everyone's always very friendly and personable! Great spot for big groups, as it's super spacious. Also, dog friendly!! My little guy loves to join me and my friends for a night out, enjoying his own special dog beer! The human beers are great too with a large selection, highly recommend!!“
“Picked up lunch today and brought it home. Excellent food! The goobkwr was outstanding and hubby loves the jalapeno popper dog. Also got Mac & cheese and the baked beans which I highly recommend and of course the salty balls. Had to also get the T-shirt too. Best food in the area. Makes me miss summer cookouts and was a nice break for all the holiday craziness and foods.“
“Excellent vibe and atmosphere. I've only been solo 2x at the bar.. the Bartenders are awesome. The food is high quality, but over priced for the portion size and my Entree one night was overly salty and the next time I went my vegetable with my Duck breast was salty as well. I appreciate seasoned food. Being a part of the food service business for almost 35 years in various capacities makes me a food snob I suppose. I'll have to try some different items. The Curry- Crab Soup and Maple Dessert was awesome.“
“Had the privilege of eating here today. As a person who doesn’t eat out often, and loves to cook I was very impressed by this place! We went for lunch and I had the double burger with grilled veggies and my mom had the lamb gyro. They catered to my dietary needs and were very friendly. My mom said it was the best gyro she has ever had, and my burgers were so delish and cooked perfectly. I can’t wait to try their oxtail cabbage soup. I can’t recommend this place enough and hope to come back when I’m in the area.“
“Friendly, kind, nice conversations.Ciders were good. To each its own tastes. We bought a 4 pack of the blueberry which was closely related to "passion fruit" cider.Pizza wasn't to my liking. It was very oily. My husband had to try to take it off. And it was doughy. I personally like my pizza crispy. She claimed it was. .. nope. The pig chips and nuts tasted stale. Suppose to be glazed with beer cider. I don't know, in this case maybe I'm the one with the issue. Though ! We did see the ability to order platter of cheese n crackers, but they were out.. Lol.It's okay. It was a Sunday and they seem to be very slow then. So.if you want a quiet place to just sit and enjoy your moment in quiet, then this is good to go. On Sundays.Vegetarian options: Seen that they have a vegan pizza“
“We have been to the Bergen House numerous times and it never disappoints! The owners and staff are so friendly and the service is spot on! The mead is delicious and we love stopping in to see what new flavors they have come up with! My favorites this time were Larry and Blueberry!“
“One of the best vegan restaurants in CT. If you haven’t tried their food, you’re missing out! My favorite is their mac-n-cheese, nachos, and burgers. They had a special dessert one night- apple cobbler- omg it was so delicious, a piece of heaven on earth lol. Love this place, never disappoints. #“
“Hidden in the corner, somewhere in Newington. Tokyo Cafe was a pleasantly delicious and wholesome surprise. My partner and I decided to venture out and try somewhere new and we may have just found our new regular spot. The dining room doesn’t have too much seating (6-8 tables max) and I would definitely consider it an intimate but cozy vibe. We frequent sushi of all calibers, this isn’t meant to be compared to Nobu or other establishments of the sort. It is an excellent neighborhood sushi restaurant. The food was fresh and delectable . My partner really enjoyed the Kani Salad as an appetizer. She said it was unique in taste and refreshing. I had a house salad with ginger dressing and the miso soup which was just what I wanted and what you would expect. We also shared the Pepper Tuna Tataki ??? absolutely delightful. I must mention all from the dressing to the consistency of the kani salad, this wasn’t the generic all you can eat, run of the mill spot. The very nice lady that waited on us was very attentive and put care into her work. The Sushi Itamae delivered with a beautiful presentation and construction of the “Sushi Sashimi Combo 4 Us”. We finished the meal off with some fried ice cream and left happy and full. I would recommend this place and we will be returning.“
“We hired Blue Chip Creamery for an employee appreciation event and we were not disappointed. The ice-cream was delicious and the driver (unfortunately forgot her name, very sweet blonde woman) did a great job keeping up with the orders. The pricing was very fair and the flavors were very unique, people loved the different options! The staff were also super accommodating to our last minute attendee changes. Would 10/10 recommend this truck for any event.“
“I've been meaning to try this brewery for a while now. Glad I finally got a chance to visit. No frills, casual atmosphere. Quality beer on tap. I definitely recommend the Stargazer and the Remington. Happy to have so many quality brewery choices in CT.“
“One of the best food places in west Hartford. Truly impressed with the chef’s talent. The flatbread was phenomenal- we got the wild mushroom which is drizzled in truffle dressing. An absolute must try, one of the best flatbreads I’ve had. The couscous is a staple and delicious but the prize went to the duck confit and wild mushroom ravioli. So much flavor, and the ingredients compliment each other very well in this dish. The only somewhat down side is that it is a smaller space, so you may require a reservation“
“I'm back in CT and love love love ice cream. Woke up craving some so I found this spot in Wethersfield. I had Blackraspberry Oreo with Campfire Smores it was deliciousssss ???. Like so freaking good!! As soon as I finished I couldn't wait to go back. Def will be trying everything they have especially the milkshakes. Next time I'm def getting marshmallow fluff as a topping. If you live in CT and haven't been there yet you're sooo missing out!!“
“I came in here on a Saturday afternoon when I was in town for the Hartford Marathon. It wasn't too busy and it was easy to find a seat. I ordered a flight and a half order of nachos. The half order was a large portion and they did not skim on the toppings!“
“This spot is one of my go to restaurants. The food is creative and locally sourced, there are fun specials, the cocktails are hit/miss. Service depends on how busy the restaurant is, it seems like the servers get relatively large sections so when it's busy you might not see your server for a while but they are very attentive when you can get a hold of them. The dessert and coffee is always very good!“
“Delicious homemade ice cream! I tried dark chocolate raspberry and mint chocolate chip both were very rich in flavor. They also have dairy free and Italian ice. Pricing overall was fairly standard. Staff was friendly. Both me and my friend enjoyed our ice cream. I came in the winter I can only imagine what this place would be like in the summer. I will definitely be back here. One of my new favorite ice cream places!“
“We hosted our friend’s Celebration of Life at WeHa. Cody was flexible with us about the date/timing of the party as it coincided with an already pre-planned event. Additionally, he was very responsive to our many emails! The venue was beautiful, and it was a great location to get 100 people together to raise a glass to our live who passed.“
“Excellent place to go to. Great views of the first hole while having a meal makes it all worthwhile. Really good food (especially the burgers and fries) and friendly staff all around. Looking forward to future visits and some of that very good sweet tea again. ?“
“Incredible! Fabulous Food! Beautiful Setting! Superior Service! Wonderful Wine! Linguine was al dente and luscious with a yummy Crab Sauce! The Chilean Sea Bass was done perfectly and the sauce and accompaniments were just right! The Veal Medallions melted in your mouth and the sauce was sensational. The cappuccino to end the dinner was very creamy and smooth and I loved it!!!! It was perfect meals again at this fine restaurant. We recommend this restaurant highly.“
“Great summer ice cream spot. Order at window service, limited out door seating BUT the ice cream is amazing. Some many creative flavors along with the classics. The price is perfect and the service is great. We got the yippee skippy (peanut butter I cream with caramel, brownie bits and chocolate). The moose tracks is great too.“
“I cannot say enough good things about this food truck and the wonderful people that run it! Owners are sweet, kind and caring. I had the lobster roll and clam strip roll. My boyfriend had the spicy fries and fried pickles (he’s vegan). The lobster roll was out of this world! So delicious, warm and buttery! I was amazed at how much lobster meat they included! Clam strip roll was pretty delicious and the sides my boyfriend ordered were so yummy! Cannot wait to try the lobster grilled cheese next time. Thank you Lobster Tales for a wonderful experience! Do yourself a favor and try them out! You won’t regret it!UPDATE: I tried the Lobster Grilled Cheese and wow! Wow, wow, wow! What a blessing for my taste buds! They are geniuses! Years and plenty of trips later, I stand true to my word! The food is incredible, the staff is kind and it’s an experience you won’t forget!! You’re probably thinking, it’s just a food truck, it’s not a big deal. It IS a big deal! Not only are you blessed with delicious lobster rolls that are overflowing with lobster meat along with delicious sides and yummy soda, you are also met with the kindest owners and staff who treat you like family and like one of their own! I even had a chance to talk to the owner because she decided to take time out of her day to approach me and thank me for the kind words that I had mentioned as I grabbed my food. How often do you get that?? I am and will forever be a Lobster Tales food truck fan and have been telling everyone I know about them! They truly are too good to be true! I’m just so grateful to have experienced their kindness and enjoyed their ridiculously delicious food! They are worth the drive! Please try them out! ❤️ ❤️Btw, I have driven across state lines and have taken long trips JUST to enjoy their food. They are THAT good! You won’t regret it! Dietary restrictions: When we first tried them out, my boyfriend was vegan and they were super accommodating all while serving the most delicious and fresh food for him! He was beyond pleased! They are amazing!“
“I ordered the small meatball salad and garlic knots, they were awesome! The meatballs were sliced and it was a good portion size. The garlic knots were cooked well and the flavor was good. I'll definitely be ordering from Empire again.“
