“Wonderfully fresh delicious seafood. Generous portions and gracious owner. She gave us a sampling of all their clam chowders and shrimp cocktail as we waited (not very long) for our whole belly clam dinner and scallop dinner. Perfect and the clams were the biggest anywhere including the coastline restaurants. Do not put off a visit…it won’t be your last.“

“I have wanted to try Tavern on the Trax for a while now. I chose a beautiful Tuesday night to get dinner and drinks here. There is plenty of parking in the train station parking lot. It was fairly busy for a Tuesday night which is a good sign. I chose to sit outside and enjoy the weather. I ordered the clam chowder, steak tips dinner and some tasty cocktails. Everything was amazing. The steak tips were so good and the vegetables were full of flavor along with the delicious mashed potatoes. The drinks that I got hit the spot. The most impressive thing to me was the amazing service. My waitress/bartender was always coming outside to check on myself and the other parties outside now matter how busy all the while training another waitresses. They were both amazing. It was the perfect mix of great food, great drinks,and amazing service all at a great price. I'm so glad I finally got here. I will definitely be back again. My only regret is not coming here sooner. “The sushi here is fantastic, though it was a bit of a learning curve for our daughter! She wasn't a fan of the sushi texture but loved the hibachi. It’s a great place to introduce kids to new foods with their bento box options. Highly recommend the food, but the seating is a little uncomfortable, so takeout is the way to go.“

“One of my all time favorite spots . Hands down beats all the local competition for seafood . Drinks are amazing ?? Two favorite’s are coconut shrimp app ? and seafood boil combo Reels catch seasoned garlic butter the flavor is great and seafood is fresh not too mention the atmosphere of the Resturant , the waitstaff are very pleasant and seems to enjoy the work they do & knowledgeable on the seafood . It’s def an experience , so if ur ever in the area I suggest u stop by u won’t be disappointed .“

“You want to talk about a hidden seafood GEM with a VIEW? Just come here. It gives off shoreline picnic table vibes overlooking the ct river just feet away. You can watch the boats go by and the oldest ferry in the United States! The food is slightly pricey but I promise you will get what you pay for in portions. Best lobster roll I have had in YEARS. Hot food was hot and cold food was cold. Everything was made to order. Service was quick and friendly. Does it get better than that?!“

“*update: Bar Experience. The bar was very well equipped, the bartender ( Alex) was very attentive, knowledgeable and efficient. Carlos made sure everyone was tended and had what they needed. Great teamwork behind the bar. The food Experience at the bar matched that of the dining room experience. The bar and restaurant was busy but Alex, Carlos and all of the staff hustled and the food was hot, tasted wonderful and of course left me wanting desert. If you have not visited this establishment, you are missing out. Everything from their service, their extensive drink menu, their delicious "tapas", their creative specials, their daily menu to their tray of deserts is an experience. This is our second visit here and we are absolutely in love with this restaurant. From its eclectic decor, super attentive staff to its fabulously fantastic tasting tapas and entrees....where do I truly begin. “Last week my family and i had dinner at Flair which is one of our favorite restaurants and Hector the owner told us his family bought Fratellis. We said we would come in this week snd try out the new restaurant. We had told Hector the we loved clams casino and he remembered and even though they were not on the menu he brought some to us from Flair. They were excellent. We also had the best chicken dish ever which was called chicken fratellis. It was very obvious that Hector and his family bent over backwards to ensure our experience was amazing and.......it was. One hundred percent way better than the new haven trucks way better than any restaurant imitation mexican food!!!
