“We ended up at this place on my birthday August 18th because we were trying to get to someplace else but because of the terrible flooding event we saw that this place was open while we were so glad to find it. The food was amazing and the staff was so attentive. We had wings which were amazing, a pretzel that was delicious burgers and steak with chimichurri sauce, all of which were phenomenal. We can't wait to go back and try other items. We will definitely be back. Thank you for being open on such a terrible, tragic day. I hope all of the staff made it home safely.

“I had a group of 15 people for my husband’s 60th birthday. We had a private room, the staff friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious! The portions were huge, everyone took home leftovers, plenty of food for two meals. Very reasonably priced! Highly recommend.“

“The cocktails and the food were outstanding. The flavors of the appetizers (Kung Pao Brussels sprouts and Burata flatbread) were just delicious and all three of our main dishes (chicken pot pie, the sea bass and the clam and pork belly tagliatelle) just popped with deliciousness! “This was our first visit. The service was exceptional. The food was wonderful. My husband had the duck special and I had a really interesting steak with fries and an egg. The drinks were very good as well. The tiramisu and La Brisas special coffee was great. We will definitely be back!“

Brisket is as good as it gets as compared to other tops in my book - all in Texas: Giddings Meat Market [Giddings]; Pecan Lodge [Dallas - Deep Ellum]; and Lum’s [Junction]. “If you’re looking for a delightful dining experience, The Benjamin in Ridgefield, Ct., is a must-visit. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, thanks in large part to our headwaiter, Gerardo, who ensured we felt welcomed and attended to throughout our meal.
We started with a variety of appetizers, which set a high bar for the rest of the meal. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For the main courses, I opted for the Long Island Duck, which was expertly cooked and incredibly tender, while my husband enjoyed the Beef Short Ribs—rich, savory, and equally satisfying.
To finish off our meal, we indulged in the vanilla crème brûlée for dessert. It was simply out of this world—creamy, with a perfectly caramelized top that added just the right amount of sweetness.
Overall, our experience at The Benjamin was exceptional, and we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious food and outstanding service in a warm and inviting atmosphere.“
