The best live scallop ever.

Visiting Grandparents from out of town, they wouldn't stop talking about how fantastic the food was & I agree, probably the best I've ever had.

Ordered three sushi rolls with fish, one veggie. The fish (salmon and tuna) was “melt in your mouth” fresh. Beautifully presented, generous ginger. Look forward to trying more.

They have the best and freshest tuna probably in all of Connecticut. And the owners are always so friendly and happy to talk. Thanks for the great sushi as always.

My favorite sushi spot in the state. Been going for a long time and I’ve never had a bad experience. I suggest sitting at the sushi bar. The dynamite hand roll, Lianne and Screaming Spicy are my three favorites. If you are in a hurry and they are busy this may not be the spot for you as there is limited staff and guests are not rushed through their meals and nor is the food.

Sushi look great but theyre not following my special request to remove avocado... $75 dollars of 3 order (shrimp tempera special roll, spicy tuna roll -I requested avocado removed and add crunchy on it but nope, they didnt look at request and lastly sashimi deluxe -> it cost $45 and yet small box of 24 little fish pieces).. I wouldn't recommend you all to order thru online due not look at special request and small portion of fishes.

So amazing!! I ordered salmon sashimi and tuna with scallops! OMG SO Good! The owner is really nice! Well both are! I believe a husband and wife team. The miso soup was delicious too! Sake great! Thank you!!!

Best, most consistent and fresh sushi around! We love the atmosphere, service and food. This has been our go to family and date night place for over 15 years!

This place is good! Convenient prices, considerable dishes and the staff members are consistently kind.

Easily my favorite Sushi establishment on the shoreline, or anywhere else for that matter. I remember coming here in the 90s and it still the same family run business. I'm a huge fan of mushrooms and there is often a special that features fungi. The sashimi is always fresh as can be and also a favorite. Can't recommend this place highly enough

I am only giving this restaurant one star because I have to. It deserves absolutely no stars. We started off by ordering hot sake which was given to us in a pot that had a broken handle and instructed to pour it with a napkin. We then ordered two appetizers, shumai and gyoza and the shumai was ice cold. We ordered specialty sushi rolls and a few sashimi and then waited well over an hour for our sushi. We got the sushi and it looked nothing like we expected. We tracked down the waiter and asked if this is what we ordered and he "confirmed" it was what we ordered. We payed $18 for specialty sushi rolls that was supposed to be 8 rolls but what we received was 6. The sushi chefs explanation? I only gave you 6 rolls because it looked "prettier" on the plate. We then told them this is not what we ordered and instead of de-escalating the situation they ignited it by having the sushi chef come over and defend what he gave us. The rolls that came with sauce literally had a single drop of chili sauce on two of the rolls. We politely disagreed with what he said and the sushi chef told the waiter "call the cops." So we waited until the cops arrived, ready to explain to the police that we did not receive what we were paying for. For the record, we requested the bill multiple times before they called the police on us. We had no intention to dine and dash. The police requested we just pay and leave and told us the restaurant requested we did not ever return to their restaurant. Gladly! I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone based on this display of completely inappropriate customer service. I cannot believe we had the cops called on us because we disagreed with the sushi we were served.

This place never disappoints. They have fresh food for convenient pricing, there are no long waits even when the spot is packed.

Awesome place to eat,music and food good, owner and wife are nice people. Relaxing
