The food was very good! Sorry, no pictures because once I took the first bite, I just kept going!!
I moved to Trumbull from Harlem 10 years ago and I’m always trying Caribbean restaurants in Bridgeport and New Haven. I’ve tried over a dozen and this was by far the best to me. I only eat seafood, so I loved that they had two fish options and shrimp ready to serve. Most places you have to order stewed fish ahead of time. The food is EXCEPTIONAL ! The service is even better! I had the Rib platter with rice/peas, cabbage, and a side of the best mac and cheese I’ve ever tasted! 🤤🤤🤤🤤 If you’re in Bridgeport, Ct go check her out!
Plus, while you wait you can view an actual live feed of JAMAICA 🇯🇲 on the TVs! I thought that was pretty damn cool 😎!

Ebonys876Kitchen in Bridgeport has quickly become a favorite for many. The food is described as very good and exceptional. One reviewer, who moved from Harlem and has tried over a dozen Caribbean restaurants in Bridgeport and New Haven, calls this the best by far. The stewed fish was the best they've had, and the cabbage was perfection. The rice had fresh peas, not canned. The fried shrimp, oxtail, and ginger pineapple juice were also very good. Another reviewer loved the Rib platter with rice/peas, cabbage, and the best mac and cheese they've ever tasted. The stew peas was 10000/10 with great presentation and quantity. The brown stew is 100/10, and the brown stew chicken is tender, juicy and flavorful, paired nicely with rice and peas and cabbage. The curry goat and sweet chili salmon were all delicious and fork tender. The rice and peas is top tier. Service is even better, with customer service at its best, no attitude on the phone, and a clean space where you can dine in. Easy parking right in front. While you wait, you can view a live feed of Jamaica on the TVs.
