“This is my favorite Haitian restaurant . The people are nice and the food is amazing!!! The griot and pikliz are my favorite!! Everyone should check it out ! If this isn't the best Haitian restaurant in Connecticut it must be in the conversation. The ambiance isn't ideal for a romantic date, but the service is charming“

“Fiiiinally tried Jean’s Cuisine, and will definitely be returning!
We got the stewed chicken with rice and beans, and plantain.
Had to try the pikliz - was nice.
Main dish was very flavorful, and tasty.
We came for the diri djon djon (“black rice”) but they were out - can’t wait to come back again to try it.
I’d read a Medium was a good size portion - that is still correct!
Parking was good, and there’s a little outdoor seating area.“

“I was in the area for a work training and was looking for food, this was the only place with good ones and it was worth following the hunch. I got white rice and black beans with fried chicken a side salad and fried plantains. The food took about 15 mins which was a good sign. No good sitting out that had been cooked earlier. The food was fresh and made for me. The white rice was soft and fluffy and the chicken was tasty. The black beans were packed with flavor and spices. The wiener was very friendly and threw in a beef patty which was crunchy and fresh. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!“
