“I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of Zuppa until recently - this is totally a hidden gem! Everything was so flavorful, even the olive oil with fresh Italian bread! You can tell everything is made from scratch, and even the drinks were fantastic. The calamari was crispy and served with such a good marinara sauce that I could’ve drank honestly, and the meatballs were fantastic. Delicious French onion soup and Caesar salad, and the chicken Milanese was piled with arugula and veggies. The pork chop was super tender and the homemade cheesecake for dessert was a great way to end the meal. I can’t wait to visit again already! The food came out very quickly, and the servers were attentive. It was a classic dining room and everything was clean.“
“Ordered pear and gorgonzola salad with grilled shrimp and BBQ wings, both were delicious. Service was quick and friendly. The decor is outdated and booths are connected back to back so you feel every movement from party behind you. Would go back though for sure!“
“Well, well, well…Don’t you love it when you’ve discovered a new fave place? This was our first time dining at Puente, and as we tend to do, we TRIED to explore the menu, but there is so much to choose from - fantastic selections because of a varied menu. Firstly, before I get to the food, as a Plant Mama, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the presence of so many houseplants. Just gorgeous, healthy plants that you can tell are loved. We came for happy hour, but tapped into the dinner menu too. Dillon provided excellent service throughout, the wait for our meal components was appropriate, the music was at just the right volume and created the right Latino vibe. We tried sweet fried plantains, yucca fries, guac and salsa, (the chips are fantastic - you know it’s hard to find THE perfect chip!!) the carne asada, red beans and rice, and the Papi Chulo. ??????. Absolutely no room for dessert, which we regret. Sipped on several margaritas between us and I tried the Cocuito-tini - so, so good. We’ll be back soon!“
“The folks here are nice, fun, and everytime you are here, you feel like you've known them forever. Games, pool, karaoke, patio and more. If you aren't fun or adventurous, and judge a place only on curb appeal, you should probably stay home and drink by yourself.“
“When I rank a space I rely on more than just the food and menu. It's also the energy and environment. The crowd at Burus' is very welcoming to new comers and quick to recommend menu items. The bartender will make you a Mocktail if you ask and describes exactly what the bar has to offer. I can definitely be a regular here if I ever frequent the evening scene. The prices are decent and it's a great spot to hop around if you are out out with friends.“
“A personal favorite, I've been a regular here for years. Open late, insanely friendly bar tenders, (seriously, they are all great!) pool, darts, juke box. Cozy hole in the wall to grab a drink after work or meet up with a couple friends any night of the week. Karaoke on Saturdays! Holiday parties year round! When you're there, you're friends with anybody and everyone. I wish they had food, that's my only gripe. But there's a couple great local spots on the same block, so it's not a big deal.“
“This is my first time testing this restaurant chain out. I'm from NY so I've never had 99 but I can say this place gave me a great first experience. Service was great, good came out fast and was very tasty for what it's worth! The setting was also very nice, I'd compare it to an Applebees. Great for what it's worth!“
