“Johnnys is usually really good , but there have been some off nights. Most recently we ordered some pizzas , the cheese was runny , all of the toppings slid off the slice. Not sure if it was the cheese or the sauce but the dough was thick and soggy.“
“Check ORDERS!!! New line cook! Asked for No onions (allergies) and had them! Should be working on it! Other than that... it's great been going for Years! Great place, Neat Menu!! $$ Friendly! Loved the old owners and new ladies nice however doesn't do the walk around food check, if there. For the price.“
“Had the burnt ends- excellent. Others in our party had the smokehouse Mac ‘n cheese and onion soup- rave reviews all around. Cornbread was good would've enjoyed it more if served warm and with softened butter. Baked beans were a great side.“
“I'd like to share that the customer service at The Broken Crust is OUTSTANDING! We typically order and eat in and the staff are consistently affable, competent and professional. Many thanks to you for your outstanding service and delicious food. It's great that you deliver as well.“
“The Taco Pizza was insanely good, and surprisingly not messy at all. They've got it down for sure. You will search far and wide to find such as delicious a slice as Longos has to offer all to come up short. Do yourself a favor and stop by.“
“I was in Dayville and I was starving. I stopped into Railside Tavern and loved the welcome and the look. Huge menu, lots of seafood, beef, and pasta choices, big plus, angel hair is an option. I got the chicken picata w/ angel hair, lots of capers, no artichoke hearts. Served very hot, juicy with plenty of lemon sauce, I liked it, chicken was slightly over cooked. I then had a cup of lobster bisque, it was very good, great broth and lots of ground lobster, no chunks but obviously lots of ground lobster, yummy! For desert I had the special offering of apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Of course, awesome!! If you're in the area or passing through, definitely check out Railside Tavern, I'm still happily stuffed!!“
“Okay, I will publicly admit I've been living under a rock, because I never even heard of this place until the afternoon of February 18, 2024. We sat down at a table for four in the room with the TV's (my nephew's request), and we looked at out menus. I was torn between choosing what burger or mac and cheese dish to go for, but after trusting my intuition, I went with the Fried Luigi burger. The red onions and fried egg really make this burger a taste sensation takes your taste buds for a ride on the Flavor Town Express. That's the best description I can come up with, so fi you love your burgers with fried eggs, you'll love this.I love seeking out places that have tasty burgers in my travels, whether it's a food truck or a restaurant, and I can now add New York Pizza Company to my list. Also the nacho chips and cheese dip were equally delicious. I said, "I wish I was an octopus with two heads and a second stomach!" I wanted to snarf down everything on my plate, it was sooo darn good!! The icing on the cake was waddling like a stuffed penguin back to the car, as I was left full and satisfied. Bottom line: If you haven't been to New York Pizza Company, come check it out, your tummy and your taste buds will be glad you did.“
“What a great place to meet and enjoy our Book Club meeting. Waitress, Gail, is just a delight, so attentive and Friendly!! Food was really good and nice portions!!We’ll be back!!Vegetarian options: Veggie wrap was Yummy, served alongside of Sweet Potato Fries!!??“
“Gus' Pub and Pizzarama in Plainfield, CT, holds a special place in my heart with their amazing grinders. These have been my go-to since childhood, and the consistency in quality is commendable. While there may be other aspects to consider, the nostalgic and delicious experience of their grinders solidifies Gus' Pub and Pizzarama as a reliable choice, earning it a well-deserved four stars.“
“Dave Portnoy came to the wrong Pizza place on Main street. This pie is eons ahead of NY Pizza Company!!! When me and my wife were still together she would always shame me for getting pizzaz for dinner. Well now I have zero regrets about the divorce, I'm glad I cheated. Cause this pizza was worth it. Thanks Pizza Pizzaz, thanks.“
“D&G Pizza & Pub in Canterbury, CT, easily earns a well-deserved four stars for its trifecta of excellence - good food, a great bar, and exceptional service. The menu boasts tasty options, with a special nod to the outstanding poutine. The inviting bar adds to the overall appeal, and the standout feature remains the exceptional service, making it a go-to spot for a delightful dining experience.“
“I’m a 6’ (in shoes) 260lb Dad who’s lived in the area for 5 years. Let’s say I have a pretty informed opinion on the local restaurants…This place is rock solid. They’re also unusually good at frying. The fries and fried mozzarella are possibly the best around, including higher end restaurants, and always super crispy. The menu doesn’t have anything very unusual or extravagant, but I’ve never once been served bad or incorrect food here in at least a dozen take-outs. The kitchen always looks clean and I’ve never been made to wait longer than expected. It’s obvious to me that the people at P-HOP are very hard workers.“
“Love this Lil restaurant. Was out there for work an we stopped there for lunch. Great waiter really made sure we were takin care of. I had ceaser salad with grilled chicken was delicious. Few folks had the parmasan sandwich and it was huge. Looked good.“
“I had the Thursday special Meatloaf. It was very good. Plenty of food for left overs. Wish they would put a hot vegi with it though. Also, ordered the Chef Salad. Again it was enough plus left overs. The only concern was no dressing options listed on line so was delivered with none. We would order from them again!! Thanks.“
“I had a gyro plate with Greek salad instead of French fries. The gyro meat was well seared, a bit crunchy. The tdziki sauce was lacking however, no shredded cucumber to speak of, no garlic, no dill. The waitress was excellent and prompt, with good suggestions. The restaurant was pretty clean.“
“Riverview Restaurant in Moosup, CT, easily earns four stars, thanks to its standout feature--the great prime rib! The quality and flavor of the prime rib make it a must-try for any meat enthusiast. While there's always room for improvement, the exceptional prime rib experience at Riverview Restaurant solidifies its four-star rating.“
“Ordered takeout for the first time tonight! It was about 20 minutes, the food was HOT HOT even when I got home. We ordered carnitas tacos, cantina especial, and kids chicken tacos. All of it tasted good and had soft, juicy, and flavorful meat. The cantina special was a little messy but overall the refried beans mixed in with that sauce was definitely super good.My carnitas were very juicy and the salsa verde was actually spicy which I loved! My daughter who is picky liked the chicken tacos as well and ate most of the rice!We will definitely be coming back as the price, portion size, and quality were all good!Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures cause we were all so hungry, until next time!“
“We are just out cruising all these back roads. Do you call them that here? House hunting. Needed a bite to eat. Another day of house drive byes, houses are starting blend. While house hunting today I realized all these pizza places are not about the pizza. There is a pizza place on every corner out here. In Texas, it’s chicken on every corner.Looking into these pizza menus on google maps I see grinders. Something I grew up with on the west coast in Oregon. Just west of us in Philly they have hoagies, it’s a major competition. So finding the one in the middle of nowhere idk if I’m in Connecticut , RI, or Massachusetts anymore with a good review, it’s easy. They all specialize in something yet very few sell pizza. The daily specials are the ticket. Today the clams were just brought in this morning. Soooo I got my two favorite things at once. I got fried clams and a grinder???at a pizza place. Y’all nailed it on the fried clams. Being from the Oregon coast, clam digging every weekend. I won’t just order clams (been in Texas too long) but it was on the special menu. And I’ve been up there in Ipswich, (travel for food) now I want someone to show me where I can dig my own on the East coast. Then I want to bring them to you and you can show me how you made such a perfect batter. Not overly fried, Not greasy, not salty thank you. Perfectly meaty as I remember. I am pretty sure I won’t find them that good again. But then WAIT‼️‼️‼️, there is the grinder. lol. I should have just shared my husband’s, he got a large. I got my own. Guess what. We ate it all. Best waitress ❤️? I wish I got your name, I got so food excited. I’m saving you as my favorite and we will be back, I have to see what else is on that daily special I can’t believe I didn’t get a picture of our grinders ?“
“My experience at Pizza Pizzazz in Moosup, CT, was decent. The grinders, especially the Philly cheesesteak, are my go-to choice and consistently tasty. The highlight was surprisingly the baklava, offering a pleasant sweet note. However, the overall experience was just okay, with room for improvement in terms of ambiance and service. 4 stars for the satisfying grinders and delightful baklava, but with hopes for enhancements in other aspects.“
“So I finally decided to order some food after driving by multiple times over this past year and always seeing the parking lot packed. All I can say is wow I finally found a place with pizza better than what I use to love from this restaurant that went out of business in my area. Wished I stopped by sooner lol.“
