“I'm a Field Tech from Western MA. A friend of mine took me to Jimmy's 45 years ago. Torrington is a ways to go, but I take jobs there just so I can go to Jimmy's. In 45 years little has changed, especially the quality of the prepared foods. I was raised on Italian food, and this is as good as it gets. I have a job in Torrington tomorrow. See you for lunch, and get something special for Sunday dinner. And the staff there is a joy as well.“

“Large order placed at 1:15 on Sunday afternoon,was told 35 minutes,ok. Got there at 2, order wasn't ready until 2:45. Warm food was done first,hot dogs cooked in the microwave, cold food done last. Also she took an order, while I was standing there whating for mine,and completed that order... wtf. On top of this cluster f_&k she had no clue how to use a cash register. “Friends brought us frozen eggplant parm, chicken parm & baked ziti. I just had surgery and can’t cook. We cooked them all up & every single dish is delicious! Excellent food. I am an eggplant parm aficionado and it is excellent. We are just thrilled by the generosity of our friends and thoroughly are enjoying the food! “I remember when big George bought this market. I was a picky kid, never ate here. I’m now an adult and love food. This is my GO TO for an Italian combo! I live 45 minutes away, but visit when I’m in town. I went Monday. Big George was there! I wanted him to help me, but he didn’t. This is a family place. Great food and people. I will always support when I’m in town. My combo was AMAZING!“

I went to my car and opened both containers and the fresh fruit salad had gone bad. I took it in and the team was absolutely excellent at exchanging it. They smelled the salad and agreed with me something unfortunately went bad in the salad. They exchanged it out for something different and I went about my day. 10/10 recommend. They have awesome customer service and they were super apologetic!“
